What I'm more interested in learning is who decided on the ratio of eraser to pencil? In other words, when the eraser wears out the pencil should also be finished? What happens when the pencil is used up and the eraser is still good? Do you get a star on your chart?

My understanding of this is that, when the eraser wears out of the pencil, you are over doing it. And yes, it is true.
