Just look up your local college of choice in your town and go to yahoo's yellow pages, and get the phone number and call financial aid, and they will tell you whatever it is you need to know...... for free!!! I'm going to start on the 22nd, for my "Associates Science/Business Degree" and I ask questions!! That's what they get paid for, hun!! Dont be intimidated by college staff!! Half of them are schooling and working there too!! and as down-to-earth, as you & I.... No stresses there!! Smile!!!

Check out this website. It is full of all the information you need for Federal Aid. You also need to check with the college you choose. They have separate money for different types of grants and scholarships. I used to be employed by a financial aid office in Virginia. You can always get personal loans through private lenders also. Before you get started with Federal Aid, know your status. Whether or not you will be an independent student or dependent student affects your limits per year on aid too. Check it and I good luck!

Go to google.com and type in school loans. This will give you a lot of information to view. You can also to to the following sites:
www.nextstudent.com/
www.salliemae.com/ --- they work with a lot of schools
www.fafsa.ed.gov
Also check with your bank. Normally the school will help you with getting a loan and grant. If you are in school check with your counselor or financial aid office.
