Well we went out to catch up on things and we kissed each other a few times and had a great conversation.
We have been broken up for about 7 months. What does this mean? shall I not really get my hopes up or anything, I'm a little confused.

For those of you who have asked it was a proper kiss. The other thing was that shes been going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment so I don't know if i'm just a comfort thing.

you need to talk to her about what it meant. Sometimes when you meet up with an ex, you forget why you broke up in the first place briefly and get caught up in how it felt when your relationship was just beginning. Just be honest with each other about how you feel and really take a step back and figure out what you truly want before deciding what to do next.....good luck, sooooo many people have been through this, you'll figure out what to do.

Huh. I'll say you're confused! Your initial question seems to either say that you're not sure if you actually kissed your ex girlfriend, which could mean you're not sure if you kissed or you're not sure if she was your ex girlfriend. I think you should be more certain about these things before trying to figure out what they mean.
Other than that: been there, done that in high school. Not the best idea. Remember why you two broke up earlier? Yeah. That's probably still there. It's nice that you both remember why you liked each other, but that whole break up routine is waiting to happen all over again. You might want to look around and notice the other nice girls that you haven't given a chance and consider that this might mean blowing them off. At the very least, don't go into serious "just one girl: my EX" mode just yet. Date around to get to know other girls to be sure this is right.

A greeting kiss or a mouth to mouth kiss? There is a big difference. A greeting kiss (a little peck on the cheek) is just fine, but mouth to mouth is another story...

just ask her out again and than you guys can get back . but if you already have a gf than you should tell your gf i know she will understand or just say that i cant be bf & gf again and say that to your ex-gf and the kiss didnt mean anything

I suppose it means you are still attracted to her! If you both are not seeing anyone, I would maybe give your relationship a second chance. Or is it just lust? If it's just lust, just forget it. But if it's more...well, you only get one life.

It can mean that she wants to go back out with you or it can mean that she wants to be friends with benefits. But you never know until you ask her. So ask her if she wants to go back out with you.
