If I am a doctor, who has dedicated my life to saving peoples lives, and I do not believe in Jesus I will go to hell. If I am a murderer who has killed many people and perhaps raped and eaten young children as well, and I repent my sins and accept Jesus Christ as my savior I can go to heaven.

My question is this; I this action by God right...?

your presumtion is correct.
sin is sin.
God promised to save us if we believe in His Son.
your human concepts do not apply to God.
but be assured, one can't willfully do what you describe and then run to God for forgiveness.
God knows what is in a man's heart and will not honor selfish claims of salvation.

No, thats not quite right. If you are a doctor who has saved people, etc. and don't believe in Jesus, there could be many a reason for that - perhaps you went to a church who told you your mother couldn't be buried in the same plots as the rest of your family because she isn't the same religion- so you stopped going to church and believing altogether. Nobody is gonna go to hell unless they have had the opportunity to know the truth. Thats what the 1000 years is for at Christs return - teaching and disipline. God doesn't wake up each day wanting to kill somebody. Okay, that said:
If you are a murderer, you will have to be executed and sent to the Father, and you would be judged by Him with the victim(s) present. Will you be spared death of the soul? We don't know.

God is fair. He doesn't wish any of His children perish - sadly, some will - gladly many won't. The choice is up to you. God knows the heart. You can't con Him. You will be afforded whatever opportunity is fair based on you.

One of the most asked questions to Christians. In human eyes this seems messed up because we weigh wrongs on a scale, 'everyone lies its not that big a deal' is probably a phrase that may people have said but if a person kills another person they could be put on death row. To God though all sins are equal because they are all wrongs against Him, therefore making a little white lie and a murder equal in His eyes. Now that doctor, like everyone else in the world, has lied which is just as bad as the murders commited by the other man in Gods eyes. The difference between them is that the murder has changed His ways and now lives for God and anks forgiveness of all his sins. So in the end the murder has a clean soul and the doctors soul is the one full of sin. So yes this action is right.

According to the Old Testament, any good person, whether he/she belives in God or not, or belongs to another religion, will be counted among the redeemed.

Protestant Christianity insists that "There is no salvation outside of the Church."

So does Catholicism, however Catholicism has large loopholes: one can be considered baptized by many means.

According to the Evangelicals, the Fundamentalists and the Charismatics, as soon as one repents his sin, his punishment is already paid for by Christ's suffering and death. The logic here is that Christ's sacrifice if fully sufficient for salvation. It devalues the question of justice.

This is not the case with the Catholic faith, where even after one has repented, any sin that isn't paid for by suffering on earth must be paid for in Purgatory. The strength of the Catholic position is that there must be justice and that suffering on earth is of great value toward salvation, so when you are suffering, you can think of it as an asset on the other side.

According to St. Paul in the New Testament there is one sin that cannot be forgiven: it is "Blaspheming the Spirit," that is, claiming you have a word from God when you don't for the purpose of manipulating your fellows in Christ, or twisting scripture and deliberately misinterpreting it for whatever ends. It's pretty scary to think about when you consider some of the TV evangelists, not to mention some of our politicians.

If you blaspheme the Spirit, you are damned and have no recourse to God. St. Paul calls it, "the unforgivable sin."

The old testament has no unforgivable sin, but says that no sin can go unpunished.

So, is God right?
Of course--always.

It is people and their convoluted interpretations who are wrong. The best scripture on this is in the Koran.

So basically, you're upset that a God you don't even believe in won't let you into a heaven you don't believe in? You expect Him to give you a reward of eternity in heaven for denying Him? And you think you're being reasonable?

The thing with murderers and other wonderful pillars of society is that they have to "truly" repent, they can't just say it and not mean it, it has to be honest repentance, and even then they have to face the world's punishment for their crimes. They can only be saved if their repentance is sincere. He knows our hearts, so we can't lie about it.

no matter who you are, you have sinned. God wants everybody to go to heaven, so if you believe, repent and are baptized then your life will surely be saved.
the reason why not every person will go to heaven is the wages for sin is death and, by believing repenting and being baptized into Christ, then you in turn have accepted Him as your sacrifice.
(in the old testament the jews needed to sacrifice a pure animal, such as a sheep or goat or a dove, in order to be forgiven of thier sins.) so no matter who you are, even if you are a murderer, if you repent and are baptized then you will be saved. but that doesn't mean that after you are baptized no matter what you do you will still be saved.

if you have any questions you would like to ask me i would me more than happy to answer them.

I know it seems harsh, but its such a simple thing, accept Jesus and all is forgiven....this doesn't mean we should continue to sin,but God has the ability to forgive AND forget, something us humans can't really do. If a person has truly repented,he is a "new man",meaning we start with a clean slate. Basically, spiritually we are reborn,so it's kinda like a second chance at life. I hope this helps a little bit.

From what is written in the bible it is not about what choices we make or actions we take. It is written Unless your name was written in the book of life before the foundation of the world you are going to hell! Revelation 13:8 & 17:8

This is the reality of the bible God!

This God created some for the sole purpose of sending them to hell! Why else would he create a being like Satan? If you doubt gthis read Romans 9:21 - 23 It is very clear!

I think it takes more than believing in Jesus to get into Heaven. I'm pretty sure you also have to live the word of God.

Now this is really a stupid question... You gotta know this.......Eliminate the silliness of supernatural gods, and it's all just life, isn't it? Some people are just nicer than others, good guys don't always finish first, And human nature is sometimes 37 degrees off center. No one is "rewarded" for being good, nor "punished" for being bad except by attorneys, the legal system gangs who take revenge, hit guys, and either excellent or crooked attorneys.
