According to bible prophesy we are living in the last days. See Matt 24, 2 Tim. 3: 1-7; I always thought Matt 24:14 was encouraging; talking about the last days Jesus says "and this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth...and then the end will come."
It is important that we not put blinders on but rather be alert to the Bible's message, after all man is incapable of "ruling himself" and things will indeed go from "bad to worse"

The Bible states that the generation of the Fig tree will not pass before all is finished. It began on May 15, 1948, if memory serves me right - Keep your eyes and ears open - esspecially on this Iraq trouble, Iran, and most of all, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Its very fascinating to watch secular politics along with Biblical prophecies - In fact, the Prophets of the Old Test. wanted to live in this time!

Jesus disciples was talking/ waiting about the end of the times while they were alive, Jesus has been dead for over 1950 years; and we are still waiting for Armageddon.
"Lots of weird stuff", every generation has said the same words, " it is the worst it has ever been ".
Stop worrying about Armageddon, start taking power -- HITAN ( Democracy in Heaven )

Being in the "end days" is a staple of evangelical protestantism in America. "The end is near" has been preached by protestants in America since they first came here. I guess fear really helps fill those pews.

Yes - I do believe we are, but only God knows exactly how close!
I can't imagine how much weirder things will get ...
We must really know the Word so as not to be deceived, and stay close to the Shepherd to be our Guide.
God bless and be with you.

Probably not.
And are you sure things are really that wierd? How many years have you lived through, and how confident are you in making an objective comparison?
For the record, I bet people thought 1278 was a really freaky year!

the end of days was a term that was used to describe the time after Jesus' ascension and before His return. The end of days is a period of time.

No the sky is not falling!
Life will go on as it has for millions of years!
The best we could hope for is that it is the end of the days of religion! Perhaps then we could see world peace!!!
