Ok....I am 17 and he is 23...yeah i know BIG GAP! I work with him and we talk a lot. I email him and he emails me back and forth even though were like 1 door away from eachother. I have fallen for him really really hard and he seems to like me too but im not sure. He always makes eye contact and he picks on me (in a joking way)...and last friday i think it was we were taking christmas stuff to the storage trailor outside...and he told me to shut the door and he started asking me about an ex boyfriend and then he started putting on chapstik...i was getting nervous and i knew he could tell...did he wanna kiss me or am i over analyzing...then a few months back i emailed him and said something like BAH! and he replied back with a GUH! which um spells hug backwards...am i going crazy here...does he liike me???? He's probably just a flirty guy, and he shouldn't be flirting with you.
Flirty guys will flirt with anyone...just for fun (I have a friend who is like that. Many people take his behavior the wrong way)...Anyway, he probably didn't want you texting him because his Girl was around. Just think of him as a dancing monkey. He doesn't mean anything he says or does when he's being flirty.

Here I have a answer for this, I think it give you a good way to look at this relationship.
First, the age is PROBABLY and issue with him, you are JUST on the boarder of being "of age" and he's not gonna be able to tell his fam and friends that he's kickin' it with a 17yr old without some snickers. That is NOT to say that that will effect him in anyway, or your relationship, but I know from xp that older individuals (MEN mostly) make issues about that within themselves.
The chapstik thing...well, I like to lick my lips before laying a kiss on my woman, so I wouldn't take that as a sign. And if he was going to kiss you, he would have, you both would have known that that time was right, so that wasn't the right time. So yes, your a over analyzing, you need to just live in the moment, and if you are goung to make the attempt to kiss someone, dammit then do it (Specially if you two are both free from romantic relationships yourselves).
He tells you not to text him, then he doesn't want your # or name to be seen at anytime (Unless he doesn't have the $ or doesn't have a nice texting plan on the cell), so he's trying to hide it otherwise.
Flirting doesn't mean that someone is interested in you in a romantic way... it could be sexually, just for fun (Which I LOVE doing), or just flat out cause you guys are friends.
These are just some of the small basis that my life revolves around, and yours may not. I look at things as this is NOW and that was then, so keep looking forward, and take what you may from my statement, and make the best decision for yourself.

Plus with you being under age and him not there will be alot of things in his life that you will get left out on believe me I was there. Find someone you have more in common with and leave the men alone for the next couple of years.

Why dont you e-mail him and say do you like me? If he says no say that you were joking since you guys play around and pick on each other.Its better than going up to him and saying do you like me and him saying no then its just ackward!
