My little one is in pre-k this year and she had a party with her friends - It was a blast
Just make the party 1 to 1 1/2 hours long -no longer, make sure you have plenty of things plained to keep them busy - crafts are fun at that age - and don't forget the goodie bags
Maybe have another mom or 2 help - so you can keep a eye on all the kids

We started when my daughter was in kindergarden. Just something I've learned past experience: dont have your child hand the invites out during class. Try to have them do it before or after school that way the kids that arent invited dont feel left out.

Age 5-6 is a lot the right age to drop off, my boys are 9 and 10 and that i have hosted and my share of activities. We did not commence having pal activities till they were in kindergarten 5/6 years old - and the little ones always were dropped off. yet there grow to be always a minimum of one figure that needed to stay, couldn't enable bypass :)

i think pre school would be fine as long as the parents are there helping with their child. or even 1 st grade when they are a lil older. you can make goodies bags also to take to their class.

Kindergarten or pre-school. It's great for your youngster to interact with other toddlers very early.
