A couple of years ago there was a poll taken about whether Americans would be willing to take away some of the rights of Muslims in order to protect the country. About 50% of Americans said they would be willing to take "some".

Examples:

Only Muslims must account for themselves in airports, because only Muslim pose the threat.

All Islamic leaders must be registered in a database, any who are not face prison time. Inflammatory hate-imam's can be deported.

Banning of Mosques or any other place used for planning and assembly.

All converts must be registered.

Any Quran that doesnt have Surah 9 (Genocide of all non-muslims chapter) removed should be illegal, the same as child porn or terrorist manuals.

Muslim immgrents are banned idefinetly

Marriage cannot confer citzenship on a muslim

The difference between me and the PC drones who refuse to accept reality is that I am pragmatic. Civil rights are important, but they are NOT ABSOLUTES. Islam is the exception.

Then again if these measures are taken it may ensure the safety of Muslims; meaning they won't be so likely to do wrong. Yes you are pragmatic.
Keep in mind Islam is a word, a name at title such as you call your self Super Antagonist. Us Muslims would've been called popinjays or popovers or Pizza. Maybe who knows? What makes or breaks a title, name or word are the people behind it.
Someone made a post that because Muslims are being cut down they should tuck their tails between their legs and run. I say not.
I'm here facing you aren't I?
Perhaps you are right about Islam being the exception, Surprise that I a Muslim am saying this? Don't be and no I am not trying to get on your good graces I don't believe in that crap. I say what it is. Truth be told they should learn how to solve their own problems instead of the usual "look at what they are doing to us, because we are Muslim" or whatever else it is their saying I don't pay attention, happens more often than not. Don't you see they made that choice when they would've chosen to do things differently. This is why it's still a third world over here.
Your questions never offend me and they shouldn't I know and understand myself. I know I won't change my mind. I know I won't change yours. I don't want to. I'm Muslim yet I prefer my own self and that's the truth. I have to be responsible for my own actions. I have to be responsible for what I do and how it affects others.

I have read your other questions as well and I must say, you really are a prejudiced fool. Have you read the Quaran? There are violent passages in EVERY religious work. There are violent people in EVERY religious or non-religious network. Perhaps the Bible should have the following passages removed as well: " "Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man." (Numbers 31:17-18). The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9). And I'm only speaking of the NEW Testament!

To blame an entire group of people for the actions of some is fascism. You may not like my answer, but the hatred and prejudice you've shown in your previous questions and answers is no less than terrorism. You're not pragmatic. Islam is a religion you know nothing about - you are basing your judgements on the religious right and the media view of Islam. Don't let yourself become a patsy to everything you hear. Check the truth out for yourself. There have been more wars over Christianity than any other religion. The Crusades and the Inquisition were fine times. Please be knowledgeable about a subject before you act like Hitler and blame an entire group of like people for your problems and your country's problem.

There aren't specifically any Muslim rights. Only the rights guaranteed to all Americans by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These rights are extended as a courtesy and a point of honor generally. It is the thing that makes us us. We are an idea, not a place or a people or a religion. We barely have an identifiable culture. We are a place of becoming. Its not finished yet.

Most of your list of prohibitions have been used on almost everyone when they arrived here, and its an embarrassment to history. Alien Sedition Acts, Runaway Slave Acts, Indian Treaty's, Loyalty Oaths, No Irish Need Apply... the list is endless. Almost everyone who has arrived here from some place else was seen as a manifest threat. Even the folks who were here previously. " You know, they were so foreign." Their religions are a danger." "They have diseases and they breed like rabbits." "They talk funny." "THEY ARE NOT US."

On the matter of your list to corral the "Towel head Menace". We have laws currently available to deal with non citizen lawlessness. We have laws to deal with the citizens who misbehave in relation with your list. Then there is that matter with the Quran. Have you read the scary stuff in the Bible or the Torah! Abramhamic Religions, Same people, same origins, same God. Scary, the lot of them. Marxism is much the same deal, but without the hairy thunderer. But NOW that I think on it Karl does bear more than a slight resemblance. Religious Crackpots have been the backbone of this country and I'm sure they will continue to be so. Soap boxes are for everyone, even you.

Only Muslims pose a threat? How low is your IQ exactly?
You have to be the single most ignorant person i have had the displeasure to come across on this forum and that is saying something. Pathetic loser. If you think Muslims are concerned about trying to take over America or eradicate it you might as well try to convince people the moon is made of cheese. Your facts would at least be more credible I'm sure.

Muslim immigrants are banned indefinitely?
As long as Americans would stay within the borders of America i think the rest of the world would let out a collective sigh of relief.

This is not a christian nation, to quote our constitution.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"

It's not just muslims that post a threat, that's idiotic if anyone thinks thats

Only a very small portion of muslims led to 9/11, they are extremists to most muslims, and people like you create greater prejudice.

This is AMERICA. Islam is a faith, and it is not dangerous to our country. America was founded (mostly) by people looking for religious freedom. You my friend, are suggesting we abadon our ideals on some of the stupidest grounds I've ever heard.

I am a Christian, and people like you make me doubt the possibility that humans can ever find peace.

Try thinking for once before you say such idiocy.

"...But after all, it’s always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and for exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.”

Trials after World War II.

No rights should be taken away. Because if you take away any rights within our nation, the radical Muslims who want to harm this country would be winning. That is one of the ways they can harm us. To make us live in fear.

Islam is the exception. Moslems just haven't made it through the Middle Ages or the Renaissance yet. When Islam decides to reform itself and get with some modern thinking then we can revisit being PC with them. Otherwise; they need to be dealt with harshly or better yet converted.
