have you ever seen an old lady with 24 cats or someone like that?

At one point when I was a kid my grandma had 40 cats. But we lived in the country with no neighbors for miles and these were all barn cats. I had all of them named.

No. But we had a neighbor that use to feed that many alley cats twice a day during the winter, in her back yard. She was a very sweet, considerate, kind lady of about 80 years old. The whole neighborhood loved her as much as the hungry alley cats did. We called her the cat lady and she loved it.

Yes, and even more than 24. Its one thing if she's running a legitimate pet-rescue operation. If she's collecting them she may be suffering from an obsession with "hoarding". You see this with people who have a lot of junk in their yards or those who live with stacks of newspaper, etc. Collecting animals can originate from that same type of hoarding behavior. 24 is a lot, I would say if she continues to collect cats and not find good homes for them she may have a psychological disorder and need professional help.

yup! We have a lady that has a rescue and has over 200 cats!!! I think she is the epitome of the term "crazy cat lady", but at least she is trying to help cats find homes.

My old friend had a crazy uncle who lived on a huge property. He had about 30 cats.
Well anyways, he died, and left his cats to my friend's mom (not the huge property though)
So they ended up having a crap load of cats, who were having kittens faster then they could get them fixed.
They finally found all but 5 (which they kept) homes.

i know a marryed cupple that had 30 cats and a kid, it was cool, i felt i wish i had so many cats, of corse they were all related because the cats were not spaid or nederd,

yes, i had a girlfriend that had 25 cats, 14 dogs, 123 guenea pigs, and a home that smelled like hell, that relationship didn't last long.
