If I had to choose between the two, I would much rather be blind than deaf. I couldn't imagine being deaf and having to give up all of the beauty of music. Music is very important to me, and I love to sing. If I were deaf, I would have a very difficult time communicating with people. Sure, I could use sign language, but I would only be able to freely communicate with others who also knew sign language. I would need to use an interpreter in order to make myself fully understood in a number of situations.
I firmly believe that if I were blind, I would be much happier. I would learn how to use a vision cane and how to read and write Braille, but I would still maintain my independence. I would be unable to drive, but I could still enjoy music and communicate freely with those around me. These things are by far more important to me than sight.

Def. I would rather not be able to hear than not be able to see. The reason is If I go def then I won't have to listen to everyone complain, wine, honk their horns, or jam their radios. If I was blind the only benefit i would get is not having to look at diarhea, vomit, or ugly people. I would rather not hear someone say look out than run into everything or everyone.

I think I would be much better off blind. I love sounds, and am a person who can hear a pin hit the floor. I hear everything even when I sleep I never have dreams cause somewhere in my brain is always aware of the sounds around me. Plus I couldn't imagine not being aware of the sound of Christina Aguileras Powerful Voice.

But then you could not watch movies, music videos, eat properly or do much of anything. I'd rather be deaf because I could watch movies with subtitles, learn sign language, and I wouldn't run into things as much as if I were blind.

If I would have to choose now after having had both for many years, I would choose to be blind.
reason: The world has become quite ugly but sounds, well there are many, many beautiful ones.

That's a tough one. God knows why he does what he does and to whom he does it to. Sometimes I think that those who can't see or hear are better off than us who can cause they are ignorant to alot of the things that could be seen or heard now days.
I would choose whatever God would want to give me, cause I know it would be for a reason and possibly for the best.

i also LOVE music.. but if i had to choose.. i think it would have to be deaf.. you would miss soooo much more if u were blind.. if u think about it.. not being able to see the sunset, not knowing what you're friends and family look like.. not seeing what you're wearing.. as they say, a picture's worth a thousand words, and if u can't see it.. it's worth nothing..
