Is it better to tell someone when they're in a good mood and ruin it or when the're in a bad mood and risk an inflated reaction?

There is no 'best time' for bad news, just get it done with right away.

It is best to tell them as soon as you are aware of it. Putting it off will only make it more difficult.
Mood of the other person won't make a difference, bad news is going to ruin it anyways.

Tell the person as soon as you know the bad news. You'll get an even worse reaction if he/she thinks you've been keeping it from them and acting as if nothing is wrong!

tell the bad news as soon as possible so u wont have to worry aobut it . i think you tell someone the bad news whenever ur ready and dont tell them the bad news when theyre in bad mood but telling someone when theyre in good mood is not good too. i think you should just tell them whenever hehehe

there's never a "best" time, just tell them as soon as you have the chance to so you don't fret over it

I think sooner is better. If you wait they will wonder why you didn't tell them earlier.

I say never. If it;s about you then nobody cares. If it's about them and they don't know, then they don't need to know. If they find out, run like hell.
