The church once said that the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around the earth...

If you don't like it, don't look at it. I'm not into pedophilia and you don't see me looking for it and/or talking about it out of the blue.

As far as I can recall Mose killed an Egyptian before he decided to tell everyone how they should run there lives. Some how after inhaling the smoke from some Bush he thought he could tell right from wrong. The bible , religion has been used for Century's to brainwash and control peoples minds. We now know that most bible thumpers have a liking for young boys. We also know from the bible that a lot of the people that claimed to talk to god were corrupt and Women were seen just as child bearers. Men are told to love each other over and over but never are they told to love women

The bible was not written by God, in my opinion. The bible was written from the words of different people who said what they thought was truth. I think it's like that game 'whisper down the lane'. Somebody told somebody who told another person what they saw and heard and it ended up on paper and then was put into the bible. If there is a higher being (God just to apply to the question) he didn't put people on this earth to be with opposite sex. Adam and Eve were supposedly created (I don't believe it's true, but again to go with the question)... it doesn't mean they were made to just be with eachother, they were made so they could recreate. If Adam and Alexander were created, there wouldn't be any people. Guys and girls who are lesbians and homosexuals were born with a different brain structure, they have certain chromozones that aren't the same as those who are attracted to the opposite sex. They can't help who they fall in love with, just like you can't help who you fall in love with. It's a ridiculous question and you say you don't mean to offend anyone and then end on "it's not right plus it's nasty". I know so many amazing gay people and lesbians and it's not like you have to sit and watch them with their lovers, but it's not your concern. If you are so against it, be against it, but don't down those that cannot just change their ways to satisfy anyone else.

Stating the facts.......which you have done is NOT judging.

The Bible is the Judge.

If you are falling down drunk and say you are a possible alcoholic am I judging you? No, I am stating facts.

It is Nurture not Nature.

If everyone was gay the human species would cease to exist.

Besides that the prophecy at Genesis 1:28 (which has yet to be fulfilled) wouldn't have a chance of coming true!

Another view I have heard of why God created both men and women was so that we could be lucky enough to have the choice! (I doubt that one's in the Bible, but on a serious level it ought to be considered).

The technicalities of sex are a bit weird when you think about it - whether straight or gay - but as long as it is a genuine expression of love I see no reason why both cannot be beautiful. Unless you are posting this for fun, I take it that you believe that homosexuality is contrary to God's teaching - however the only advocated plan that I am aware of is to deal with this with love and tolerance - you may not agree with it, but Christianity is (from my understanding) about love and acceptance and showing such individuals love and tolerance will probably make them more willing to hear your view (although that doesn't necessitate they will accept it).

You are welcome to your view but that is no reason to stop living Jesus' message of compassion (even towards those who act contrary to the Bible's teachings) by using it to reflect negatively on others.

Given that the Bible was written by heterosexual men with a slant toward them being the only ones who think they're right about just about every subject there is to know, did you honestly believe it would say anything differently? And what is not right for you does not make it not right for everyone else. Or is that too complex an equation for you to understand?

You're nasty.

Most guys are straight; some are gay. Most girl are straight; some are gay. That's all there is to it.

First, you forgot to say "according to my religion". You make it sound like an objective truth.

The god you believe in is not everybody's god (and is actually fictional, but that's beside the point.

If you had been born gay, would you still think it's such a horrible thing? What happens if one of your kids turns out to be gay? Some mothers drove their kids to suicide with their religious lunacy; will you be one of them?

If a woman, even with sexual orientation, have been the final woman on earth, then she may well be in a chief place to create a clean society . . . one that wasn't patriarchal. She ought to effectively exchange into the Queen, and another male may well be relegated to workers or Drones. She does no longer ought to "date" certainly all and sundry. She might purely ought to reserve a guy to do something and he might ought to do it. Sexual determination may well be no longer purely be moot, it may well be unimportant.

Sigh.

If God put people here, He put them here to love each other not hate and judge and exclude. Why would you care who someone else loves?

Also, the Bible isn't the only source for truth in the world.

There's nothing wrong with dating the same gender. It may seem wrong to people who have judgmental problems, but not to those who are truly in love with their own sex. It doesn't bother me at all as long as they don't do anything inappropriate in public, same goes for bf and gf's who do things in public. It's just what they like and trust me...not everyone like the same things. What's wrong with being different? really? It's not a crime is it? So why should it be a crime to date the same sex?
