got a fine for driving in a bus lane..all that on the letter is that i was driving in a bus lane in (the hyde)1853hrs 30/12/06 no further address and the letter is from barnet london brough, how do i know that there clock was the right time and it wasnt 1900hrs they think they got video evidence they aint sent me no pics THANKS ALL

seen as it was a bus lane, unless you were driving a bus you gotta pay up. Don't drive in bus lanes any more if you don't like getting fined.

First, don't admit it was you driving. Say you had some friends over from Uzbeckistan that day to help you move house and you all drove the vehicle, and you've now lost contact with them. The onus is on them to prove who the driver was, so unless they've got clear pictures of your face they can't prove it. Good luck, and stop driving in bus lanes!!!

i know exactly where you mean those cameras are lethal. 1853 or 1900 hrs does it really matter at the end of the day you were driving in a bus lane and the highway code clearly states you musn't drive in one!

Just pay the fine pal....if you don't it will double or treble in no time which is worse. I got done for parking outside a Chippy on double yellow lines....£30 fine....they were the most expensive chips I've ever had....and they weren't that good either !!!
