I got mine from ebay, ebridal was the store and its in china, I paid like $100 shipped and it was gorgeous. They did put a cheap zipper in it that I had replaced for $15, but other than that it was perfect.

They are sold cheap because they pay people in sweat shops to make them...then charge you hundreds in shipping....
I bought my dress on ebay it was new and brand name...but from usa--i got it for $29.99!!! It was perfect.
Ebay has great deals just communicate with the seller of the item...if you sense a red flag---buyer beware- your instincts are usually right.

Most of the dresses are knock offs of the designer. You might as well pay full price if you actually want a nice dress. But basically there are cheap dresses that they sell as name brand.

People in China have to eat. They work for very little wages. It's a real toss up, buy at home and pay more but help the economy or buy from China and save bucks. ^^OO^^ it's a dilemma all right.

I have heard they are very poor in quality. Try checking out http://www.freeweddingclassifieds.com ... or buy right from a store when they have the sample sales or when you go to a bridal show and get the coupons- you can save hundreds...

They're "export" items, and the American dollar is strong enough so that the people selling them can turn a quick profit.

because thats how they get you, they make the price low but the shipping cost is crazy!!
