every time i try to unistall it says the installation source for this product is not available and you must verify the souce to access it and when i ty to install itunes from the apple site it just says unable to remove quicktime i was tyring to install the new itunes and i uninstalled itunes but quicktime wont uninstall now i dont have i tunes any more and i cant put any songs on my ipod anymore

Try Clicking start than run type in msconfig look in the startup tab for anything that reads quicktime and uncheck the box for it after click apply than ok and restart than try to uninstall it again hope it works

As I can imagine that some files needed to install the QT is not presented, so you will not able to

As a solution I think you may reintalle The iTune (with the QT chosen to be Installed) in hope that it replace the old version or at lest you will can do over all unistalle for both ITune and QT both.
I think it will work
Let me Know what happened
