hair help please!?

i have a perm and i tried letting it grow. now its half nappy and half permed and nice. should i give up and get a new perm or how should i make it grow longer faster?

If you want your hair to grow and still be straight and fabulous at the same time steer clear of the realxers and instead utilize curling irons in which the heat can straighten the hair. Curling irons do the job with less damage and does not interfere with hair growth, but you gotta do it every other day. If you want your hair to grow use a leave in conditioner. Also another thing that I swear by is Mayonaise. I know it sounds crazy but mayonaise can be a great hair conditioner. Beverly Johnson uses mayonaise on her hair for it to look fabulous. With a quality curling iron, conditioner, and mayonaise you will be able to have beautiful long straight hair.

I know some people try to say pantene is bad for your hair but its not actually bad for it its just not lets say healthy I dont know how to say it but its fine, it is great for permed hair it puts like a coating on it that tames down the frizzing also use pantene mouse for perms this is essential to the perm, and always pic your hair out while it thrown over top of your head and blow dry that way to, when you blow dry do it in steps like apply mouse, let air dry 5-10 blow dry alittle bit - air dry 5-10 depending on length-blow dry and before each air dry spray alittle spritz hair spray on and crunch ends before air dry and repeat until almost dry and in the end when its pretty much dry not all the way use a finishing spray like rave or whatever and lightly pic out again not to much and you'll see a world of difference and it will grow it just takes maintenace and when you get it trimmed tell them only what it needs even if its a centimeter or else growing takes longer, oh one more thing the pantene takes about 7 days to fully see what it can do and I also suggest once every two weeks you use an off brand like v05 to strip the pantene out and start over or else it gets to weighed down, good luck try it you'll be glad(if you dont use it already, but the mouse is the key) Kim

try getting some of the perm cut ou and have your cut re-shaped. Then it should grow a bit faster.Good Luck!

ok.. u got a couple choices.. u can use a straightening iron that with straighten both the roots and the ends.. or you can get braids, braids will help it grow faster as well the best way to make ur hair grow HEALTHY is to stay away from chemicals for a while
