wat is stopping u then
this is a hard situation 4 any1
i don't know what u can do.
first of all if u have a religion then go to a preist or some holy place or person.
however if u don't have a religion then my best choice would be islam - simply coz i'm a muslim.
u could also try doing good deeds, or maybe u could make lots of prayers. or u could even pretend that u beleive for a long enough time that u actually end up beleiving.
that usually works for young people/teenagers or youth.
good luck!

You are thinking for yourself and wrongly envy those who are lame brained and blame/praise all that happens around them on 'The work of the Lord".
My advice is to stay as you are and appreciate the wonder of nature and spend your time and resource in reading up on how it really works rather than wasting your time in stuffy chapels mumbling to the sky and accepting without question (very lame)what some bloke in a dress is telling you to believe because some hippy 2000 years ago started a movement.

Good! your on the right track. God is mind control. God is a shared hallucination. Which man made up this '''god'''? The idea of god isn't as old as the Earth,, meaning it was made up some time later, making it a load of mumbo-jumbo, it's arrogant to think that this god, -that we made up, created the Universe, the Universe is a BIG place you know, and we are not the only civilisation that exists in it. Praying wont make any difference, believing in god is madness. It really is mind control, and so are all religions. Religion creates a divide, all religions conflict with each other, religions create wars, religions kill people.

Hey there,
I know how you feel, reminds me of about 5 years ago. I ended up opening an old bible one night and it opened at a page where a man said to Jesus 'help me with my unbelief'. It just struck a chord with me and I decided to 'pray' .....God, if ur there, help me with my unbelief.
Nowadays I have no doubt in my whole being that He exists. If you want I will pray for you tonight.
If u seek Him, you WILL find Him :-)
love from Cat

Visit a Pentecostal Holiness or Assembly of God church Sunday morning and night if they have services, and I hope you will leave believing in God.

There are several things that you need to look into that will strengthen your outlook regarding belief in God.
Fulfilled Prophecy
Science and the Bible (although not a science where the Bible does touch on Science it is very accurate)
Archeology - Many have used the writing from the Bible to locate artifacts related to Bible history.
There are others as well........
If you would like some other info or have questions email me at MbScSezMe@yahoo.com

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

You say you want to but you give no reason why you do not.
If you truly want to you should know that it really means you already do but you feel the need to convince yourself of that.
If you want to discuss this and perhaps explain why you feel you don't believe in him and why you feel you want to, then email me. You can get my details from my handle on here.

Steps:
- Feel pain or joy, not necessarily in your body, but in your heart. The pain can come from various sources, death of a beloved one, loss of a job, financial ruin, or divorce. The joy can come from finding love, reaching a goal or discovering a new talent or gift.
- Find it difficult to look forward to each day, without thinking of what you had, and lost. Lost not to your choosing, but taken away from you.
- Find it impossible to not look forward to each day because of the incredible opportunities you have been given, the beauty all around you, the magic you see in all aspects of nature and life.
- Look around you. Your home, your car, your health are all intact. Your tears have become less, or your joys have become greater, but you have a need for someone to listen, just not 'hear' your pain or share your accomplishments. You walk alone, but do not now want to be alone. You are healing, but you need someone to help you heal the loneliness you feel, or share the magic you see.
- Walk into a Church/ Synagogue/Mosque/Zendon/Ashram. Any faith, any denomination and attend a service. You are not looking to join a congregation, or learn the beliefs or any specific religion, you are just looking for an inward feeling. I can compare it to sitting in a hospital Prayer Room. You sit alone with your thoughts, and pray. Your prayers are not of a religious nature, but just a release of your feelings. You are praying to God, a God you may believe is of your making, but who has always been and always will be -- not as described by any particular religion or scripture.
- Listen to what is said. If it makes you feel as if you have found what you have been looking for, you will feel a stirring within you. Something has happened. You suddenly feel less alone, and less helpless .
- Walk away and look up at the sky. You have found God, and feel the warmth within you, as never before. You have found Faith, and life has a new meaning to you. Say, "thank you God", for your faith will now guide you. You no longer feel alone. You feel that if you need help and if you ever get 'down' , you have someone to talk to, and guide you. And when you experience the incredible joy of life, you will now be aware of the power that has given you that gift.
Tips:
- If a loved one dies, and you ask "why"...'why did they die', "why was I left alone", do not give up asking. A reason will be shown to you in time. When God determines you are ready to hear the answer the answer will be revealed.
- Do not give up your Faith, because something else comes along and knocks you down. God had a reason for that also.
- Everything in life, every path you take, you have taken for a reason. Write it down, and follow the path. Then one day , read that book, and track that path you took, and understand how the first path, led to the last path.
- Have Faith. Do not give up. Believe, and you will not ever be alone. You do not have to believe or join any particular religion to have faith.
- The belief you have formed in Faith, and in a Higher Power than you, does not just happen. You do not wake up one morning, brush your teeth, and say, "today I am going to believe in God. Today I am going to have Faith". Something has to happen for you to need and and for you to trust for you to seek out that Faith.
- When You find Faith, hold on to it tightly, do not allow it to leave, do not stop believing. One day you will understand the feeling, 'that you have a purpose in life', and you will find that purpose, when you least expect it.
- This article applies only to a conventional, personal God and presupposes His existence. Different faiths may profess different notions of God.
