What you did is call laying a fleece. I for one don't put a lot of stock in such a sign but it sounds like if you do or don't that you have invested enough time in a relationship that isn't going anywhere. There are a load of men looking to build a life with a woman who wants a home and a family. I'll bet you are just the person one of them is looking for. I have heard great things about that eharmony.com web site. Give it a shot... Jim

Looks very obvious to me. God did exactly what you asked for. A sign of snow in a place that never snows. Sounds just like God to me. Besides, why do you want a loser that doesn't want you back. Since God proves that He hears you, ask Him to send you Mr. Right.
July 7 is my sisters B-Day! On July 7, 1977 she was 14 (7 twice) I always thought that was cool.

How long have you been dating? If it's been a while...you know you have your answer. Your boyfriend said no. Tell your boyfriend you are tired. Tell him what you feel. He can either choose you or not. Either way you will know and you can move on with or without him to bigger and better things.
The snow may or may not have been a sign. I would say I don't know. Whether has been weird these days. Maybe you saw a weather forecast and don't remember...I don't know. My advice is your boyfriend either wants to move toward marriage or he doesn't. It's hard, but you have to come to terms with it, whether good or bad. Maybe God has someone more special, more prepared, and more perfect for you waiting in the wings.

The bible says to test everything with scripture.
it could be God or satan.
Genesis 3:1 "the serpent was the most cunning beast of all the field."
Satan can appear as an angel of light and can even answer prayers just to get you to disobey God.
Maybe it was going to snow there even if you didn't' pray for that. What were the weather conditions like according to forcast for your region?
Then it may be God. Compare with Scripture. And ask God to make it painfully obvious that He is the one or not the one to marry.

Coincidence. I doubt you asked god for snow. It seems more likely that you asked for a sign, and when it snowed you made the false connection.

Well, I think your boyfriend saying no is more of a sign than the snow, in all honesty. You know where you stand on this.

Signs are a crock of poop. Let me quote Sex in the City.
"quit wasting your 'pretty' on him. He's just not that into you. " You deserve someone with the same values, and goals as you. Quit asking him to marry you. Tell him it is important to you and you love yourself enough to set higher expectations. Then leave.
Yeah, it hurts, but there is someone out there who is perfectly matched to you in every way, and he has a pedestal waiting just for you to climb up on.

That is the problem with setting up this 'test'
It is better to see that your boyfriend doesn't want to get married and move on . . .
but since you want to see this the way you want to see it . . . take
the 'snow' as a sign!
good grief

I'd say it's a coinicidence. And that if you live your life by superstitious signs and beliefs you're gullible indeed.
I also think that if your boyfriend does not want to marry you, pressuring him will only make him unhappy.

No it's not a sign becuase "god" is a figment of your imagination. You would have found a sign from god in anything, because you were looking for a sign. If you're BF keeps saying no... my suggestion would be start looking for someone who's gonna say yes.
