They are seen either singing, whiles Picking Cotton in long abandoned Cotton Fields or hanging from trees, gently swaying in the wind!

Why yes theres many black folk ghosts .some of my best friends are ghosts and the ones that's most fun to be with are black people.They will dance and sing and tell jokes and there just great!they try to have as good time as they can. though there dead.the whites seem kind of down about being dead and get complexes.
Theres demons to. I woke up to a greenish light in my bedroom when I was five.trembling with fear.I didn't wont to look over but when I did I saw some little demons flying around my brothers bed. one looked at me with those evil eyes I will never forget and I looked down . the light went away after a while. I felt them leave.I am joking about the ghosts. I am not joking about the demons.It was not a dream.

It is truly a sad thing when people are assigning colors to ghosts. Apparently you haven't visited or heard of the Myrtles, and several other sites in Louisiana. There are also hauntings in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, California. What is brought to the media is what is considered interesting to their "target audience". How many Americans do you think will tune into programs that cover ALL nationalities of hauntings. It's all about the money.

I have not seen a black person spirit that does not mean that they are not there. I saw a dark shadow(something different) right before i got real sick recently. The dogs barked real loud and i hope not to see it again.

I believe that yes, ghost can be black as well... I actually seen a movie where there was a black ghost... I don't believe in ghost, I think it's more like a spirit... and yes, spirits can be black.

You know what, that's kind of an intriguing question. Now that you mention it, the only one I've ever seen is in "Ghost."
But then in spite of all the reading I do, it seems that I only read white authors who write about other white people. Not intentionally......
The only exception is an excellent book by Tananrive Due, whose name I've just mangled.

Don't believe the movies and television. ghosts on the rare occasions they are seen as a full body apparition, they take the appearance they had when they died including their clothes. One reason is if they know they are dead and appear to the living, they want to be recognized, but usually they do not know they are dead so they look like the think they are supposed to look.

Ghosts are not spirits of dead people. They are demons masquerading as dead people. When people die, they remain in a state of unconsciousness until Christ returns. They do not become ghosts.
