Is this a serious question? There isn't a population anywhere that is completely homogenous throughout, so it follows that, although there are lots of bible-thumpers, a fair amount of UFO-seers and a modicum of inbreeders, there are also myriad other types of humans that reside in the deep south. There are atheists in the deep woods of Georgia and in south Alabama and just about everywhere else I've been in the south.

Come to think of it, there aren't THAT many deep south residents that embody all three of the traits you listed at once. Most bible-thumpers wouldn't admit to seeing a UFO, and the inbreeders would see the UFO but wouldn't be able to figure out which side of the bible to thump...

I think where you lose this is in your second word---"all".

Are some of the people living in the "deep south" US of A bible thumping, UFO seeing inbreeders?

Yes!

But not all. Goodness no, not all!

No, unfortunately that particular group is the only one to get any press. Just like every state there are good and bad apples. The south just gets a little bit more press coverage than the rest of the country.

Yes. They all eat grits, hog jowls, and assorted road kill at every meal. The women all wear hoop skirts and faint a lot. And all the white men have mullets; either work as mechanics, dream about being mechanics, or are fat, tobacco-chewing sheriffs; and are members of the KKK.

Aren't stereotypes silly?

You already know the answer to this.
And why are you sterotyping any group of people in the first place ?
How can you ask for "serious answers", when you're asking an asinine question in the first place ?

I find your question highly offensive.

No, No, and No. I refrain from bible thumping, I have never seen a UFO, and I am neither inbred or seeking to inbreed.

Thanks!

Depends on the area, but I'd say no, sometimes, and more often than they care to admit. Again, it really depends on the area.
