Find another church that you will be comfortable with. the longer you're away from church the harder to get back into the door....Trust me I know from experience.

i have found that true faith in God has nothing to do with your devotion to a specific church or specific religion. There are some things that transcend religions and ideals. The basics, be good to you neighbor, don't steal, don't kill....these things are part of ALL religions. Your faith in God has to come from something other than what people have told you in your lifetime. It has to come from something that you feel and truly believe not just overheard or listened to. Obviously your faith is being tested... and honestly... this is good. If in the end you still believe then you know that what you feel is real to you. That is what matters most. Your own personal faith and own personal trust in your God.
Many will disagree with me.... i have not gone to an official church for mass in MANY years. However, I still believe in God and still believe in doing what is right, for the right reasons. I don't push my faith on others nor say that what they believe is wrong. In the end... we will all find out who was wrong or right. Until then, live your life, be good and kind, and do what is right for the right reasons.

Look if there is a god he will love you no matter what because he created you no matter what religion you are you can always agree something made you. In this we usually look at this creator as a mother/father figure and if you had good parents you know what uncondtional love felt like that's what your creator has for you going to church or believing in the christian god wont decided heaven or hell because you are loved by your creater UNCONDTIONALY and creators are proud and keep their creations not cast them into hell because you didn't do exactly what he wanted after all he made you this way shouldnt he accepet the decisions you make?

once, years in the past, I took my little ones to a church that we were invited to. i replaced into shocked to discover that the girls wore attire in effortless words, apparantly couldn't reduce their hair, had to placed on head coverings, and did not placed on a stitch of makeup. and that i have been given this eerie feeling about the position. i did not have a lot time to ascertain extra because apparantly they made my 2 12 months previous daughter in simple terms as uncomfortable, she threw a in high-quality condition. they did not have a nursery, so we left. and by no skill went again. My reviews with church homes have not been tremendous. i ended going to church for type of 8 years. lately i tried going again for my childrens. they have a best youngster's software. They love going. yet i guess i'm nonetheless gun-shy about church. i ask your self if i am going to ever experience mushy in a church again. that would not save me from looking for God at living house regardless of the reality that.

You won't go to hell because you left four walls, you are the church, you make up Christ's body. Just continue to seek God. God hates religion, but He loves relationship. Religion can get so far gone until God isn't in it. Church nowadays are commercial. Just seek God and let Him lead you to a good bible based church, and under a person who knows God and walks according to the Word and preaches like that too. Be Blessed!

Pray
Attend another church (not to join, just to visit)
Pray
Go back to your church and talk to your pastor...
Pray

No church is perfect and without its problems, just like a home with a family.

If in the end you decide to leave, join another church. (but I hope the reason you are leaving is very serious and not just a disagreement or anything).

*I absolutely agree with NISH's answer above!

Redcat,

You need to get right with God. Are you a sinner? Think about it. How much have you sinned? Have you broken God's 10 commandments. The bible says we all have. Look at your sins today. Look at the 10 commandments (Exodus 20). List them. Then know this... Every time you lie, you're calling God a liar. Why, because you were made in His image, and you are saying that by lieing, then the God who's Image I am in is also a liar. Think about your other sins. Have you blasphemed God's name? Every time you do it you are insulting God. God grows angrier and angrier every day at your sin, and it piles up every day. List your sins for today... then multiply them by 365, and then by 10... That's thousands of sins in the last 10 years. God is looking down at you in anger.

What should he do with you if you were to die today? Should you go to heaven or hell? What do you deserve?

Now I ask, what did God do so that you don't have to go to hell? I'm sure you know. God himself came down to earth as a man, Jesus Christ, and lived the perfect sinless life that you or I can't live. Jesus then went to the cross and died a horiffic death. And then he suffered the punishment for all of your sins for you, so that if you truly repent of your sins and you turn to christ and trust in him fully, you will be born again and you will pass from death to life.

Think of it this way. If you murdered someone and were guilty and were about to go to the electric chair and you were on your way there and knowing you were about to die... then at the last second a man came in and tells the judge that he will die in your place. He will take your punishment so that you can go free. How should you feel towards that man? Should you be grateful? What would you owe him? Your life? Would you go out and murder again?

That's what Christ did for you. He loved you so much that even while you were kicking him in your heart, and hated his ways, he died for you. He loved you with more love that you can ever understand, and he asks you today to repent and turn to him. To read His word and then obey it. Then He will take over your life. He will guide you in His ways. He will send you to the right church so that you can serve others because he has done so much to save you...

Many times when you feel far from God, He is right there at hand. Consider these things. Consider what you deserve, but then look to the Cross. Look to Jesus and His sacrifice and keep your eyes on Him always. You'll never go wrong if you live a life of repentance, and always trusting and obeying Jesus through the Word.

Listen to this and consider with a sober mind....

You can't really go to church. If you are a Christian, you are the church. Please read your Bible. The new testament tells about Jesus. God wants you to accept Jesus as your lord and savior. Jesus was sent to the earth to live, suffer and die and be resurrected so that you don't have to go to hell. Acceptance of Jesus, is the only key to Heaven.

Meeting with other Christians helps us to stay close to Jesus. Find a group that does this. God bless you.

I agree with Nish's comments.

You said that you left your church and that you do not want to end up in hell (i think you meant to say). No church has the power to send you to heaven or to hell that is up to God. Draw close to God where ever you are now and depend upon him for your salvation.
