Because I'm 12 and I 5'5" and all my friends are shorter than me! I feel so self concious!! HELP ME!

My daughter will be 6'2' when she is done growing. This is normal. Find out from your parents how tall you were at the age of 2 and times that by 2 and that will give you a rough estimate of how tall you will be when you are done growing. I took my daughter to a specialist when she was younger and that is what he told me.

In shoes, i replaced into that tall then. There are *not* plenty. It wasn't a "ailment". I had tall genes and good nutrients. I actual have a own theory that putting on some better pounds (not plenty and much, yet some) would help a mushy lady have sufficient fat to grant and keep estrogen extra effectively, so she'll initiate transforming into "out" truly of up quicker. that is only a own theory. If the 5'11" 11-12 months-previous is out-and-out skinny, slightly extra fat can make existence a lot less chilling. My neice is 9 years old and will be 5 feet tall in about 3 more inches. Her dad is 6'6" tall and her mom is 5'5" tall. She is tall as well and I'm her Aunt and i'm 5'3" and she comes to my chin. And so the next time I see her which will be this summer sometime, She will be taller then me (5'3) and in the 4th Grade. She will be 10yrs this summer. So no your not alone. I know most girls don't grow until Jr. High at latest but be thankful I find it a blessing to be tall. I wish I were tall. I'm sure they are jealous of you cause of your height.

My daughter is 11 almost 12 and is in 6th grade and she is 5ft 7..
She sometimes is self conscious but yes she is taller than most in her class and most boys also..Some joke around sometimes and she has a good personality so she laughs it off..example--my nephew says she is shaq-size. She is getting ready to start basketball. We talk all the time..I tell her she is model like. She doesnt seem to mind most of the time.

I accualy know some 12 and 13 year old kids in my grade that are really tall (around 5'3-5'6) and I am kinda short (measuring in at 4'11). Don't worry. I think it's better to be tall. I have a friend who is 10 and he is only 4'2. People will catch up to you soon.

My daughter is about to be 11 in March. She is 5'4" right now and growing like a weed.
Don't be self conscious, I am sure you are beautiful and being tall is very good. Others will catch up to you soon.

I am 4'8 and 10 years old yet there is a younger girl in my class shes like a couple of months younger and shes like 5'10...shes taller than her mom!
