I heard that when you smoke marijuana for the first time, you cant get high. Is this true?

I got high my first time! It was great. Most people say that because the first time they smoke they dont' really breath in all the way they just hold it in their mouth. if you actually breath it like your supposed to then you will def get high!

If someone doesn't get high from smoking pot the first time, it's for one of two reasons.
1. The quality of the pot is very poor (schwag)
2. The smoker doesn't know how to smoke correctly, and therefore doesn't inhale and/or hold in their hits a long enough time for it to do anything.
I remember the first time I smoked pot, I laughed for about 3 hours straight and ate an entire loaf of bread.

no, thats not true its a total myth.... It all depends on the type of pot you smoke, the amount, how you smoke it, and your weight.... I defanitly got high my first time, but that was because we smoked out of a gravity bong, and i had about 7 bowls of chronic.... If your thinking about getting high for the first time, and want to get high, just make sure that you smoke a good amount...

no it isnt true. most people smoke schwag their first time.
that is low grade marijuana, and the affect of the high isnt nearly as strong, or as long lasting. so it really depends on what your smoking, but since you just started out you will probably get blitzed.

Well not really. But a lot of people dont get high the first time. Or else they are high and they just dont realize it. But if you dont get high first time try again. Its worth it.

It's more like you don't know what being high is. So the first time, yes you get high, just don't know until a couple of times smoking what being 'high' actually is.

To tell you the truth you will feel your real high the 3rd time you smoke,,the first time you have to let your body recognize the THC then they become friends, then you will enjoy it more, Bring out the MUNCHIES!!

Actually......the first time i smoked, i didn't. I think it's because your scared to....you can actually scare a buzz away if you want to bad enough. Try having to talk to your parents right after you smoke....see how that makes your buzz feel.
