Get over it. Being successful in life is more important than being popular. In case you haven't heard, a lot of the people that are popular don't end up being successful. I myself have seen a few of them at the local McDonald's, or bagging my groceries. Get an education. If it's public it's free for gods sake! Most people hear FREE and they jump at the opportunity, they will wait in a line of 30 minutes to get something for free. You have work hard to get ahead. It starts at school. Nothing is handed to you.

Like I have told my son...how popular will you be ..when all your friends go on to the next grade and you're stuck repeating the grade over.....you have to put more effort and time into your school work and less into your social activies... or next year you will not have to worry about popularity..........
go to your teachers and see what or if anything can be done to improve your grades..if they offer after school tutoring than go ......if you are to the point of failing the whole year...ask about summer school and see if it is offered.........and keep working with your teachers....

work harder, and study smarter. there's no magic formula for getting better grades other than hard work.
worried about being popular? why? i'm assuming you're still in high school by saying this, but once you leave high school/middle school, nobody gives a care if you were voted "most popular". Really!!

Concentrate more on your studies than social life. Seek advice from your parents or teacher(s) about how you can balance the two. (Ask your parents first.)

Talk to your school counselor. Maybe there is a program to help you get caught up.

when you apply for a job, whats going to matter more, your GPA or amount of "friends"? Think about that one.
