I ask because it is a fact that U.S. Forces entered/attacked the Iranian Embassy in Iraq yesterday and then today someone attacked the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece. The media is calling the attack on the Embassy in Greece an act of terrorism, but NOT the attack the U.S. Forces did on the Iranian Embassy yesterday.
Call me crazy, but I cannot see any difference in the acts. What do you think? Who really are the terrorists? Are terrorists anyone who doesn't agree with President Bush?
NOTE: I realize the media is trying to convince us all that it is possibly home grown terrorists in Greece and that is what makes it an act of terrorism, but I believe it doesn't matter who it is or what Embassy you attack. It's all terrorism or none of it is terrorism.

I fail to see any difference in the attacks. Embassy soil is sovereign. And we are not at war with Iran, so entering their Embassy by force is an act of war. Our President has committed an Act of War on our behalf. Gee, what a great guy.

Both attacks are pretty much acts of terrorism. The only difference is that U.S. forces were acting as a national army while the other group was not a national unit engaged in a war. Armed combatants, according to international law, are people wearing clear national uniforms and bearing clearly visible arms. The reality is that there is little difference outside of the way it is reported.

One is an act of terrorism and the other is an act of war. There is NO war in Greece and the attack on the US Embassy was an attempt to terrorize the embassy staff. I had not heard about an attack on the Iranian Embassy, but I am sure if there was then there was a military mission with intention of STOPPING some sort of insurgent activity.
Terrorist hide, the US does NOT hide.
Heck, we owe them one anyway, they attacked our embassy in Tehran in 1979 and took our State Department employees hostage and held them for over a year.

It is a fact.....? Were you there? Or are you parroting what someone told you?
Even if it is true, do you realize there is a war going on in Iraq and the Iranians are helping the enemy? Do you realize that we are at peace with Greece?
NOW do you see a difference?

Listen, in this case they are home grown terrorists. Some of these punks kill based on lost soccer games never mind false political opinions. Plus only a few windows were shattered.
The Greeks have it under control.
Peace,

It wasn't the Iranian embassy. Either you didn't know that and you don't know what you're talking about, or you did know that and you don't care about the truth.
Anyway, if you look in the dictionary under "ironic" it shows Iranians protesting about the sanctity of embassies.
LOL!!!

Sparky, I can tell you. The main difference is that we never attacked theirs and they did attack ours.
Good luck, I hope this helps.

i dont believe we fired an rpg at the iranian embassy..i think we raided it to get iranian terrorists out of iraq..all fair and legal in the world court...you seem to forget, that legally, we could be bombing every mosque that hides terrorists..but we dont, because we are a humane and compassionate country that respects others religions and even dissenting points of view...if islamists ever invade this country,,do you think they will afford us the same protections...????
