It is funny how we get attached to a piece of land and we even call it our country just because we happened to born there and we even say that we will died for it,and we even hate when others try migrated there, like if we own the whole city,state.etc. when we don't even know the people next door, we fight every day on the streets for stupid things, we treat our employess like **** or even our members of our family, when we hate our criminals and rapest etc.. all those masses represent our people our country so when someone says I will fight for my people it means I will fight for the millions of humans who I don't even know, not even the 1%of them, all those included criminals, rapest,my enemies, people who I don't just happend to like.etc. Why we don't just called ourselves citizens of the world and live whatever we feel like without worry about stupid attachments. We dont't realized that life wont last forever .Dead turn all the world vanities in to ashes

We are not attached to a piece of land. We are attached to the people, our families, our churches, our houses, our communities, and our way of life.

You keep on saying "we". Maybe you fight on the streets for stupid things, and treat your employees and family like ****, but I sir, do not.

"I will fight for my people it means I will fight for the millions of humans who I don't even know, not even the 1%of them, all those included criminals, rapest,my enemies, people who I don't just happend to like.etc."

Exactly. They fight for EVERYONE. God gave you free will. Some people use it to kill or rape people, but most people do not. Some people use it to fight for a better world. So everyone else can live a normal care free life.

Now go thank a veteran. God bless.

yuor treatise is about people in general. This is the way we are no matter from which part of the world we are from. It is really too bad because things could be better for all of us if we only cared for one another. Religion tries to teach us this but it failed.
What is next? I'll tell you. Our ultimate doom. We are what we are and it will not change.

My country, my people, I will die for them.

We are who we identify with. We grow up with neighbors and we identify ourselves through the mirror our neighbors represent. it is a tribal extension, that we have sublmated but not erradicated that our neighbors are who we are. When our neighbors suffer, we often rally around them and seek to defend them.

You want us to be citizens of the world? You must first give us an enemy or a goal that is beyond the boundaries of our fences. You must give us something to make us all neighbors and family in grief and triumph.

I think it means that they are proud of where they come from and who they are. And that they will do anything to defend it.

"I will die for my country"

Patrioism, it's a beautiful thing, yet you make it sound like something terrible.
