Also there is this boy who everyone says he likes me. He knows I like this other boy. I do not want to hurt his feelings. My friend will not get mad if I go out with him. Help me what should I do? .

I think you need to just see what happens. Make friends with this lad, and see if you get on well as mates. He'll soon ask you out if he feels he gets on better with you than her.
On the other hand, be prepared just in case he asks her out. If this happens, just continue to be friends with both of them. Who knows, one day they might break up and he might turn to you.
I don't think you can change who you like and you can't make someone like you - they either do or they don't. You can't make him like you, the same as you can't make yourself like this other boy that likes you. No matter how much you try to make yourself like him, it won't work if it's not there to start with. But this doesn't mean you can't be friends with him either. Just tell him you would like to be friends for the moment and just see how you get on, then you won't be hurting his feelings.
Don't try to be interested in things that he likes and you don't, just to get him to speak to you because this will just make you look daft when it all comes out. Just be yourself.

If he likes your friend why would you try to "get him to like you"? He must know you yet chose your friend. Also, even if she says she won't get mad, it is bound to upset her. For the boy that likes you - just tell him you don't have those kind of feelings for him but would still like to be be friends. Or, go out with him once - you may see a side of him that you didn't see before.

Don't risk a friendship over a boy. There's plenty of other guys out there, but you can never replace a best friend.

who gives a frig who likes you...it is about who you like...yo go get the man...if it going to cause problems with your friendship you either lay off..if the friendship is important...or yo crawfish her and get the boy...if you really don't care about her.
