Yes, absolutely. You might not know it at the time - you might never know it. Something bad happens - it makes you stronger. You don't get something you wanted - there's something better out there for you. I don't think that equates to you not having a choice. Fate dumps opportunities in front of you, it's up to you to take them or not. You're probably not that important - the universe can work around you! One school of thought is that before you got born into this life, you actually chose the paths and opportunities that you would have. I quite like the idea. We just don't always understand why the heck we would have chosen *this*!

For that to be answered, I need to point at three things I consider facts:

1) A conscious Creative Force exists.
2) The Universe was created by that Force.
3) The Universe was created with a purpose.

Now, when the Universe was put in motion, an outcome was expected. Our lives, with all their joys and painful moments, are just part of the equation.

I do too. i replaced into with a guy for 4 years (a real jerk for sure, yet i could not see it on the time) and we both needed a baby. We by no skill, ever used birth control the entire time we were jointly. when we broke it off, we both have childrens with individuals. i visit't imagine what my existence should be like if I had a baby with this loser. Then, I met my husband in an section the position he replaced into operating overdue and that i replaced into there early. He were praying for a lady to go back alongside and adjust his existence and provides him something to stay for. He also had continuously had to undertake 2 little ones. after we met, he moved 1400 miles from living house to be with me (replaced his existence) and that i had 2 childrens from my previous marriage that he treats as his own. sure, I definately believe issues in existence ensue for a reason, regardless of if we do not comprehend what the reason being on the time.

Yes, even if that reason is "because such-and-such happened before it, and this is a natural consequence of that event."

Do I think that the Higher Power (however you choose to believe in it) has a detailed game plan that it is following, and that life is just a game of Divine Chess? No, not really.

No, I don't believe everything happens for a reason. I think alot of the bad stuff that happens is because this world is screwed.

Yeah, when you go to prison the reason is because you did something wrong and got caught.
When you get divorced it was because you were cheating and got caught.
Therefore, things happen only if you get caught.

Yes.

If I am driving it is for a reason.... I'm probably going somewhere.

If someone shoots me it is for a reason.... Either they were trying to kill me or i was in the path of the bullet.

Doesn't mean gods and what not are involved though.
