I just recently met someone n after a month he has found out he's very ill, He's getting blood test done to see if he's dying, The problem is I have feelings for him n want to stick by him but, I don't want to go thru the hurt of him getting worse, I pray to god he's going to get better, n he tells me not to worry about him. Its hard not to. What to do?

He may be telling you an excuse to get rid of you (this is the excuse people use on the internet to get rid of people), or he may be telling you the truth. Anyway even married people split up because there is an illness, so you wouldn't be the first person to leave someone who is ill. Someone talking about dieing may be just trying to get your attention, I don't know, but you're right, the best thing to do is to pray for him to get better, and to move on. You have a life, you need to grow, so do it. You feel badly because you heard about his situation, but everyone has a situation. And, if he has cancer or something people do come out of cancer and it goes into remission, but you need to know exactly what he has (if you want to be merely friends). but don't take this relationship any further. Get on with your life.

If you feel that you could stay with him even if he is sick. Be strong when you are around him because he also does not want you to get scared and to worry about him. Just keep on praying and hope for the best. Always remember that everything that happens to an individual. God has a purpose. He has a plan and a will for each of His children. And remember that God is still in control.

well i think that if u back out now, ur always gonna be thinking in the back of ur mind if he was ok or what if he did pass away. u know what i mean? i say u just help him out right now if u really like him. the last thing an ill person needs in there life is to be heartbroken. what if everything does turn out ok and u decided to leave him...u know ur gonna regret it for the rest of ur life. u dont need to date him if u dont want to, but just be there for him as a frend, and maybe when he gets thru all this u guys can date. i just think ur gonna regret leaving his life if he does pass away and u werent there for him.

the way to heaven is paved with good intentions, where as hell is filled with nothing good. Is worrying about the love you can give someone good? Is that love recieved multiplied and given back in return? Quit being selfish and love them, give to them, nurtcher them and if they leave? You are still the strong one for you are and remain the giver and givers win while the takers loose.

all you can do is be there. if you care enough for him stand by him. if it turns out to be serious and god forbid something does happen to him, you would always regret walking away.
i know exactly where you are coming from but be brave and strong for him.
