As Christians we are supposed to pay tyes. The bible says it. I don't exactly know the scripture but if you look at your index under "tithing" then you will find the exact verses. GOD BLESS YOU

It's an Old Testament concept to pay tithes to God. Some Christians embrace their Judeo roots while others do not follow it. Some give 10% directly to their church, while others give to various charitable organizations in the name of the Lord. Let the Spirit guide you either way.

The word is "Tithes", and yes we are supposed to pay them. The Lord tells us everything we have, money, time, whatever, the tenth part is His.

If you are rich, have the ability to give to those less fortunate and do not, that is a sin.
If you have a few extra dollars for offering, give it.
If you have no money to give, give of yourself. Give time, volunteer, help someone carry their groceries.
Remember the story about the woman's two last pennies?
The rich men gave lots, but it was just a TINY bit of what they COULD have given.
She gave all that she could.

Do you mean "tithes"?
A tithe is 10% of your income going to God (usually through a church.)
Pay what you think is right, or what your church suggests. Charity is good if you can afford it. Otherwise, donate time, materials, whatever you can.
