Why doesn't God appear to discriminate.
Put sacred texts aside, I'm talking about NOW.
People of all faiths feel equally blessed by their God(s)
If only one religion is right, why is this?
I've met people of all faiths that say their faith changed their life for the better.
For those that think their path is the only way, explain why God doesn't seem to show that in the real world.

Why does what I belief matter? It's not the point. I don't have a religion right now because I haven't found one that completely fits me.

Please no preaching. I will not convert to your religion, so if you don't want to answer my question, please don't post.

It's nice that when someone tries to force their religion on you as an answer, you can just give them a thumbs down and their answer no longer shows. Honestly.
The question was IN THE REAL WORLD.
If you can't even look at the world outside your own beliefs I feel very sorry for you.

No, sacred texts not put aside.
We are incapable of seeing truth on our own, because we are deluded by our own sin; thus your inability to see the difference.
Let me show you what the Bible says TODAY.
Jeremiah 17:9
"The heart is more deceitful than all else
And is desperately sick;
Who can understand it?
So, you can't understand the depth to which your own heart deceives you.
Psalms 14:1-3
1 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good.
2 The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God.
3 They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.
And Jesus said that there is no other way:
John 14:6
Jesus said* to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."
Now, I think you come into this forum and ask these questions because God is drawing you to Himself:
John 6:44
"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day."
Following the command of Jesus, we are to repent and believe the Gospel:
Mark 1:15
(Jesus came) and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

There will always be those who think that their God and the way the practise the way their religion is the only way to heaven or wherever they are going to the here afterlife...
I think that all religions have a basis of truths and all have the same base
it is good that everyone who has a God who is benevolent and merciful it truly does work for them. Some hear things differently in their lives and need to hear things differently than others. Basically if everyone would just get along and be "neighbours" and loving themselves the world would not look and feel like it is no matter what religion they are believing in at the time.
oh and God does show it just because some of us do not see it for what it is ....

Faith in something greater than yourself can benefit anybody, that doesn't mean it is of God. If you check out all the major religions you will find they are all works based salvation except Christianity which teaches you can never be good enough for God apart from faith in His Son Jesus and that gives you your salvation not how 'good' you can be. We are all doomed if it's how 'good' we are because I think we are all pretty pathetic, myself included.

I think that most rational people could agree that if there is a God, God would not care in which way people thought of him (her, it) but more about how people lived their lives and treated others.
I'm pretty sure that (since I do believe in God) God is pretty displeased with all or the horror, wars, hatred and judgments comitted in His name.

God indeed does show it. Take for example any worldview apart from the Christian worldview; they are either arbitrary or end in inconsistency or cannot provide for the preconditions of knowledge. That means, all other worldviews are futile to hold to. God has reserved a day of judgment when all men will have to give an account before Him.

Faith...(religion) is a way of life. Mainly, it's based on good works(except for Christianity, where there's grace) and tell me: who feels bad after doing a good deed? It's the religion that drives one to do good.
God won't show that in the real world, he's already shown it in the Bible. So everyone's gonna have to answer him later on. Right now... well... I dunno.

The ones you have met who say faith has changed their life forever. If they have in fact given up the free will for the will of Our Father, those people are the chosen ones.

This is the reason i consider myself spiritual...not religious.
Religion, to me, means organized. Formed together for might. I have no need for might. It only makes enemies.
Remember that the meek shall inherit the earth.

Because there is no one way to "God".
There is no one right religion (or even a lack thereof).
Many blessings to you on whatever path you've chosen..

This is becuase GOD gave us free choice. His messages have been clear enough. We make our own choice so he may judge us later.
