I don't think it's paranoia so much as it is a desire to dominate. At least politically, and I do fully recognize that those are a SMALL minority of christians. I fully recognize that most christians, like atheists, just want to be left alone to live their lives in the way that they see fit.

Higher Powers make People Crazy, I'm one of those Non-Believers That would celebrate if America was a Atheist Society, but the Reality is People need Devine Intervention, a Bunch of Crap.

I'm not sure that 80% of the people in the US are actually Christians...but I promise, those of us who are have nothing to be "paranoid" about.
Believe it or not, God is in control.....

Don;'t give up yet! My personal experience is that many atheists, agnostics, non-believers and other non-christians are covert to protect jobs and relationships in a Christian-dominated society and political system.

No they don't. I wish they had a statistic to show what percentage actually live a Christ centered life. Most people claim to be Christian, but that is only a title. Rarely do people live what they claim to believe.

I think the Christians in the US are starting to see the world as it really is. 50 years ago most people in the US believed their local priest and their local government. With the information technology we have today most people are finding out that both are screwing them. Its hard for people to accept the truth and beliefs are hard to change.

Christians are paranoid because they are so afraid someone is going to convince them of what they know already---down deep in their hearts. That is, that there is no G-d but G-d and Jesus is not G-d. The fact of saying this is blasphemy.
Christians are afraid they will finally have to admit what is true, and they are fighting it.

Paranoid? Of what? I only worry that you and others will miss out on the glory of God and will spend forever and ever in Hell
