At different ages in your life you are at different stages. So people go through different stages at different times. Example: 20 year old likes to party 40 year old already done that likes to go out maybe every once in awhile but a lot quieter place than a 20 year old. Then there is the stages of raising children. 25 year old may have 2 kids ages 3 and 4 and the 40 year old has already raised little ones don't want to do it again. See?

I would say it depends on the couple, but as a rule of thumb 10 years difference is fine, 20 years difference is a little weird and somewhere in between (couple dependant) is where it begins to show.

I think it mostly shows in the beginning. My hubby is 11 years older than me and we really got stared at when we were first dating. Now 2 1/2 years after marriage he still looks older but I don't look so young anymore. Someone once told me that when a woman marries an older man that he sucks the youth out of her. I don't know but it seems like it might be true. ;)

The actual age (in years) is irrelevant. What matters is your attitude and maturity.
Don't take too much notice about what others think, either. Lead your own life the way you want to.

what does it matter? i am 31 and my husband is 24. we've been together since he was 18, and used to get comments from friends, but now no one cares about the age difference. all that matters is that he is a good husband and father. we have 4 (2 biological)
