If you prefer pastels, you could paint it mauve, lavender, mint green, cool blue, cool turquoise, a soft pink, peach, apricot. For something more dramatic, you might try midnight blue, canteloupe, lime green, violet. Do you prefer cool colors or warm colors?

whatever color you choose take a sample home and try it first. it never looks the same at home as it does in the store. Most stores will give you a small sample if you ask..

Try a nice pale lilac color. It's very restful.
