I am totally obsessed with a girl, and I have been for the past 3 years! I did have short relationships in this time, but I just can't seem to settle for anyone else cause she is just so ******* attractive. It gets weaker when I don't see her almost every day (i.e. holidays), so those are the only times I have had "affairs" with other girls.
The problem is, she parties alot (not that much, but more than me) and she's really beautiful, so she obviously could have most guys. I am just average looking (check my pic), funny and all that stuff. I'm just not very dominant.
So, does anyone here think I should risk telling her I like her or flirt with her? She most likely knows I like her anyway, but I've been stupid in the past and I haven't been honest with girls.
I've learned to be honest now, but since I've known this girl for so long, I doubt she'd want me. She's not my friend or anything, I just know her.

LUST that is all it is. You don't say anything about her personality or what kind of person she is. If she is a party animal chances are she loves the attention she gets and she won't be ready for any serious relationship. It doesn't matter if you are average it is what kind of person you are. You can find pretty girls and good looking guys all over the world but if they aren't kind hearted then looks don't matter. Beauty is only skin deep.

Just go up and talk to her. The reality of her will not live up to what you've built up in your head about her, believe me. The fantasy is always better but, you might regret it if you never go and talk to her. Be honest and just tell her you think she's pretty and would like to get to know her. Don't tell her you're obsessed with her, obviously. If she turns you down, it won't kill you and then at least you'll know to let go of the fantasy of this girl. Good luck!

it's obvious you really like her, i think you should at least flirt with her and see how things go from there, if she flirts back, continue flirting, just flirting for a while, not long though just a couple of days, or however long you feel comfortable before you ask her out, don't be nerveous, because if she flirted back with you she must have thought about you to hooking up, and if she kept flirting, she probally liked that idea! i think you should let her in on your feelings about her. what is the worst she could say..."no i'm not interested" big deal...at least once you tell her and she does say no you can move on cause you don't deserve to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you. and if she says yes then there ya go you got a date and you can get to know her instead of basing your obsession on just her looks. you may find that she isn't very nice or whatever and then you can move on. good luck with this and happy new year=)

there's no harm in that, right?
& you're nt having affairs, hun.
affairs are when you're married.
get to know this girl a little bit,
go o parties with her,
make her feel comfortable.
Dont make yourself seem like
too much of a best friend, because
then she might not go for you.

You only want her because you think that you dont deserve her. Move on with your life and start having more faith in yourself. As time goes by she will become just a distant memory, and the one you end up with will be the one that was meant for you.

except for the ******* part, and that she is my friend, in a good sort of not ending or ruling things out kind of way. A real good friend who I want in my life, not gonna promise forever till I know her better, I want her in my life more though, that I'm sure of. I wonder if she's interested. Like you said we are just plain so why would anyone want us?

You have to make an effort or you have zero chance with her. Try to talk to her and see if she's open to you. Ask her to go out some night. Try being friends a little and get to know her a little better before making your move.

Tell her how you feel. You said your not friends so it's not like you're risking a friendship or anything. Be honest with her, you never know, she might like you too.

Lame boy....go get her...try something new...the worst she could do..I mean the absolute worst she could do, would be to laugh at you then stab you in the neck with a rusty pitch-fork....
so if she says no...it still isn't all that bad.
