Put a stop to it and do not be intimidated . Next time she comes , let her know that you have plans for the next weekend . Better yet get a job outside the house where you make some real money and don't be at home that time .
What took you so long to realize you are being taken advantage of .
Get going ! Have some fun .

I don't think you're being selfish at all. It's very rude of your aunt to do this to you. You need to come right out and tell your aunt that you cannot babysit every weekend and when you do, you need to get paid. Agree on how much she should pay you and how often you will babysit, then there will be no misunderstanding.

Did you volunteer for this job? If not, I would tell my aunt when she picks her daughter up next time that I have some plans for the next few weekends and while I love her and my niece, I can't commit to keeping her on weekends. And when you have children, remember this and don't use a family member or friend the way your aunt is using you.

If you do not have children of your own, YES she is taking advantage of you!

If you do have children of your own, how often does she babysit fo you! If not at all, again, YES she is taking advantage of you!
