Whats a good way to get tousled beach waves?

I have long brown hair thats straight but will somewhat wave when i dont comb it after i take a shower. Does anyone know how to get those pretty tousled beach waves?

put epsom salt in a spray bottle with water. spray your hair. heard this on rachel ray from jessicurl.com

I would suggest curling your hair with a curling iron instead of chemically perming your hair because it causes less damage. With this tip in mind you will look fabulous.

maybe a lose perm or a big curly iron.
