5 years ago... a gang member... and even today alot of people get judged... but u know what... it does not matter to me i don't have any personally but just because some1 do i do not think of it as good or bad... or judge as being a criminal or a gang member...

Only narrow minded people see a tattoo and automatically think trailer trash, that or they are too scared to get one themselves. People of all ethnicity's, ages,and gender are getting tattoos. Tattoos are works of art that are unique and personal symbols that have great meaning to the bearer, maybe a portrait of a person dear to them or a reminder, one year sober or organ transplant. Watch the show Inked on A&E it's about a Tatoo shop in Las Vegas in The Palms Hotel and it shows people being tatooed and the reason they are getting the tatoo done it's very interesting. I see them as individual and personal works of art with a deeper meaning, because it must be meaningful if you are willing to go through that much pain and after you do you can wear it proudly. So unless it is some nasty jail tatoo or actually says I'm a Thug or some blatant gang slogan I think the are pretty cool. IF YOUR SKIN IS NUDE THEN YOUR AN UPTIGHT NASTY PRUDE!!!!!!!!!!

Well for me tattoos don't make you look cool.Tattoos make you look like a gang member. What makes you look cool is just being yourself if people like you the way you are there is no need for tattoos. Lets say there there is a gang that their symbol is Juniors and you are wearing a symbol that says Juniors th police will think you are a member of the gang "Juniors". And might take you to jail. Remember if you want to be cool just be yourself! I learned this at school tanks to Officer Chris♥♥♥♥♥♥

well i think i look great with mine! I think other would look nice with them because I don't judge people on how they look! you can't always say they look like their in a gang or they look like a skank! I don't really like the way people act when they see omeone with alot of tattoos! If they are in a gang they would would probably get things that are gang related. If it's not gang related then they probably just wanted then because they wanted them! Don't judge people on what thye have or what they look like! that just sets our generation back a few decades back to how our grand parents and great grands might have thought! I asked my boss how he felt about tattoos in the work place, and all he wanted to know was if I could do the job! So do your thing!

I have sleeves on both of my arms and starting one on my legs plus some misc places on my body too. I'm not in or ever have been affiliated with a gang or gang activity. I just love the art of and the experience of getting tattooed. People that assume alot of tattoos mean "gang member" or "white trash" just further the stereotypes that ruin the world.

I think a tattoo is a personal thing. Mine is in memory of people I've lost. No gang crap here. Although, I've seen many tats that are gang related, usually in the morgue. Pretty sad huh ~~~

Depends on location. You want to be able to cover for appropriate occasions. The ones on hands, neck, face apply gang. I am a respectable business owner over 55 and have one on my chest

Depends on the size and location of the tattoo. You can have them tastefully or look full-on freakish- its a personal choice and i think the more important question is : Am I confident in myself and comfortable with who i am to have this tattoo? if so, then go for it, its personal expression.

They can look great or terrible. A flowing piece down the curves of a woman's back is just art. A mish mosh of a hundred different unrelated, poorely done tatttooes on someones arms is just sad.

It can look good if there done well , but not too many or too big and not gang style.Remember they are for life so make them classic.
