Valentine's day is approaching, and i have no sweetheart to spend it with. what are the upsides and downsides of having a boyfriend?

i am single too and for a while i was kinda bummed about it but now its the new year...the best thing about being single is i get to talk to lots of dudes and have a lot of friends...guys that are friends are so much more cool than guys who are your guy. reason i say that is cause they look out for u, u always have dates for the movies, someone will always be able to lend u money and just look out for u and no one can get jealous cause your not exclusive with anyone.. i mean they can get jealous but who's problem does that sound like. you're young just have fun. and u get to know them better as friends...they trust u more and tell u stuff that your man would not do.

Coz I'm in the same boat, I'm just gonna give you the downsides of having a boyf.. :)
1. Don't have to spend money buying him a V-day present/card
2. Don't have to diet to be able to fit in a dress for V-day
3. No chance of being disappointed over boyf forgetting that it's V-day
Why not plan a single girls night out?..

I loved being single when I was single. I never had to worry about the other persons feelings or thoughts. However I love being married. I love know what he is thinking before he says it. I've only had a total of 3 boyfriends in my life and my third one is my marriage. I can read him quicker than I can read a book. That's why I fell in love with him. But if you are single live it up!!! Don't let somebody bring you down.

The upside is spending time with them, having someone to snuggle up with at night, and always having someone to talk to.
The downside is having to answer to someone all the time.

You have to find happiness in yourself before you can have a happy relationship. Valentine's day is just another day. We should show our feelings everyday, not just on Feb. 14.
