I'm thinking Mail Order Brides is the best way to go?

I'm a 28 year old American male, 6-2, in very good shape, black hair, green eyes, educated, a house, a car, good job, and always monogamous in relationships. I have a lot of good qualities yet my relationships with American women never work out, I have come to the conclusion my best possible option to find a women to spend the rest of my life with is foreign. I just am not compatible with American women I guess and a mail order bride may be a good idea. But for some reason there seems to be a stigma against mail order brides. I know two very successful good looking friends of mine who went that route, one married a women from Thailand and the other from Venezuela. They have been married for over 10 years each, have families, and everyones as happy as can be. I'm envious of how happy they are and would like to do the same as them. I find that many foreign women are very beautiful, kind, sweet, caring and loyal. And please don't take that as me wanting a submissive women cause I don't, I treat women I'm with equality. So with that said why is their such a stigma against people who do this?

So if what your looking for isn't a submissive women then whats wrong with all the women in the US ? And if there is something wrong with them who do you think is to blame ? Have we gotten too independent ? Do we no longer cook, clean, raise the kids all while holding down a full time job ? Have the men in America and all over the world taken women for granted way too long and now have to pay the price ?? Bring any women to the US and show her opportunities and she will smarten up too. Before long women all around the world wont put up with men's bs because they wont have to. Then your game is up. Why not work on becoming better American men who deserve good women.

After all your info your only question is about stigma?
First you tell us your friends have mail order brides. You tell us of all the reasons why you want to do that as well (monkey see, monkey do) and then you ask us to talk you out of it.....give us a break!

The stigma is that men who choose mail order brides are super lazy men. If those women get what they want they stay, if they don't then they leave after they get their citizenship.

What you, nor your friends, understand is that if you are from the USA then a large portion of the people here were from foreign lands, the only difference between us and the mail order brides is that the ones from overseas, well it will be your children who are the first generation Americans. While we on the other hand are second, third, fourth, etc. generation. There is no difference except we here have fought for equality because the men here refused to pay for their own children and we have learned not to be slaves anymore. The women from overseas that you bring into your lives are "bought and paid for". some people have a word for being bought and paid for, sometimes it's a nice word, sometimes a not-so-nice word. But those who let themselves be in that position are in that position for their citizenship, for them to have American children, or to bring their children over to be American citizens, and in the meantime have a husband who will pay for them, buy them things, and they believe Americans are rich so rich is what they are looking for. Even somewhat poor men here would suffice as a spouse because where they come from is poor or super poor, the currency exchange rate is different and therefore here it would be paradise for them. It has nothing to do with love. Since you are so young, perhaps you need to know that most people have two faces. One behind the scenes when someone is getting beaten up and the other face for the public.

If you are American and are having a problem finding an American wife then you are either not trying hard enough, or you feel you have no need for self improvement.

I am Brazilian and my husband is American. I understand what you are saying because my husband said those same things for me about American women. We met trough our jobs. We both worked to a multinational company and that was how we met. I have a friend that was a mail order bride. She is from Russia and he is American. They seem to be very happy. If you feel that you need to get a mail order bride, do it but I am going to say to be a little cautious because some women wants to came over here to get a green card. Maybe you can try to meet women from other countries that are already here. Whatever your decision I wish you the best luck and I hope you make the right decision and find the right one for you.

I do not think there are any stigma. You can really find a genuine woman that has genuine feelings for you and you for her. You just have to find the right one.

I have to agree with everyone here, it does seem desperate or like you want a person for one thing, but I have never known anyone who had a mail order bride. Perhaps it is not a bad idea after all, especially if you can find someone who will appreciate you and what you have to offer. I think you may be looking in the wrong places or choosing the wrong people. I am your age and in the same situation w/men, and this is my problem.

The stigma: It's seems like a purchase. The cultural differences between people here are already vast enough. I wonder sometimes about the language barriers, religion, and ideology. People will always think that you chose your wife because you want someone who will obey/submissive to you. That isn't entirely wrong, but there are still many women here you have left to date. It's different if you meet someone who moved here, or you moved there and met someone. It just looks bad to have your wife delivered from another country.

It's looked at as desperate and by and large, the guys who order brides through the mail ususally want a submissive woman who is happy to serve her man. If you're comfortable with this choice, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. You're an adult and you don't have to answer to anyone.

There is nothing wrong with it! I also have friends who have done that. Another way is to find an ex-mail order bride -- one that moved here and then got divorced.

Screw the critics! It is no one's business how you met. Make up a story, and teach it to her, so you both tell the same thing. Make it a really romantic story!
