Athiests following their core beliefs.
Mao 49 million
Stalin 30 million
Pol Pot 1.7 million
Kim Sung 1.6 million

Now lets list Christians who were following Christs teachings when they did it.

If you could please quote from Christs teachings since we are talking Christians.

My point with athiests as the majority bad things would happen in big numbers. No ultimate right and wrong to stop them.

Tojo of Japan probably killed the most (5,000,000) in the name of religion, but he was not truly following his religious doctrine. Their have been Muslims who have done things in the name of religion but not the true Islam teaching.

Communists, who have to be atheists, however can follow their core beliefs and commit atrocities. Lenin had no moral right and wrong. Hos teaching was anything that furthered communism is right and anything that impeded it was wrong. But nothing based on morals.

Atheists committed more murders in the last centuries than all the centuries by Christians. One interesting point is communists did it to their own people, at least others do it to strangers. Takes a pretty sick dude to kill his friend for a philosophy.

Did * perception * in atheism reason some to kill others? No. notwithstanding the dogma of eliminating perception replaced into very commonly coupled with outstanding human atrocity. They went hand in hand. a lot the same with faith. it truly is * dogma *, coupled with lust for skill that were the motives for most of the deaths with which faith is saddled. replaced into faith the motor vehicle? sure. yet, that is the point; it replaced into in simple terms the motor vehicle. You tell me 10 million were killed because someone did it less than the banner of God and communicate to this data that faith is, for this reason, incorrect or undesirable. it truly is illogical. that is like declaring democracy is undesirable because it truly is misused.

You can't limit it to Christians following Christ's teachings if you're going to include morally inept people on the Atheist side. That's not a fair argument. You must include all Christian leaders. They are still Christians. Atheists don't teach violence and murder.

does anyone know the death tolls?

None of these persons are Christians! Here is the basic fact about a christian - You have believe in Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and have faith in him only. If you read the four Gospels
you will no what he taught.

Nice canned time line there. You chose the one that would best prove your point. How about looking at ALL of history. More people have been killed in the name of one god or another than for any other reason.

Do you think that telling such transparent lies gets you anywhere?

When you find an atheist who says "let's kill 20 million people in order to promote atheism", let us know. In fact, when you find one who says "let's kill one person in order to promote atheism", let us know. You won't find one. If you knew of any, you wouldn't be throwing around the names of Mao and Stalin and the like. Admit it. It's obviously true.

In the meantime, in today's America, you can easily find Christians arguing that we should kill Muslims in order to promote Christianity, and of course you can find Muslims around the world. arguing that we should kill Christians in order to promote Islam.

Since many believers apparently have no sense of right and wrong to stop them from this kind of thing, we need more atheists in power. Atheists DO have an ultimate right and wrong.

How many people in Sweden or Denmark died? They are not run by megalomaniac dictators. You have a flawed example. For Christianity don't forget Hitler.

People killed here were not due to religious issues, but due to political issues.
