Why does Google Maps show a street but can't give directions to that street?

Google maps does show direcrions. You have to do is click get directions and enter in both addresses and then you have it.

I don't know, but I use Yahoo Maps Beta. best maps EvEr!! You can use multiple pins and even search for a business. I started a job in neighborhood & was TOTALLY unfamilliar with, so I mapped it & found my bank, a vet & K-Mart along the way!

Click get directions and enter in both addresses starting and ending!
