my boyfriend doesn't say 'I love you' everytime we are together. He only says it every once in awhile, and when he does, it is very special to me and I will tell him that I love him too, because I do. My question is.. is it normal for guys to only say I love you every once in awhile and not everytime we see eachother?? cause sometimes when he doesnt say it, I doubt his love and wonder if he still loves me since he's not saying it, but then a day later or so he will tell me he loves me.

that is a great question..in my experience guys don't throw around the word love..they just don't...as long as he is showing you in some way that he loves you then i wouldn't stress..maybe he is just not the softy kind of guy that can say it all the time. plus if it is special to you when he does say it..then that's great! value that sister..because its not the same after you hear it a million times. then it just becomes a word..good luck

Sweetie just try and remember that actions speak louder that words ever will so if he doesnt say it EVERY time then go by his actions if he doesnt act like he does either then u have a problem if he acts like he does them words dont mean anything...guys usually dont say things like that all the time anyway and if my guy did all the time i would probably think he was some kind of pansy...long as he shows it u should be straight

Guys aren't as affectionate as girls are. Girls tend to say those three little words much more than guys do. Don't base your whole relationship on what he says, base it on what he does. Is he kind to you, does he respect you and your opinions? You have to look at your relationship as a whole, not just the one part. If you seriously doubt your relationship you should speak to him about it. He probably doesn't even realize the way you are feeling. How can he, if he doesn't even know?

Your just like me. I feel the same way when my boyfriend doesn't tell me, but it is normal. Guys won't express themselves as much as females. It really sucks, but deep inside he really does love you. Don't nag him to much about it and don't just wait for him to say it. You let him know that you love him to.

We promised to say I love you every chance we get because we never know when the last time will be. But I honestly believe in ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS - you can say a million times if you don't show it, its meaningless!

Im not sure on this one..
I would expect a guy to say he loves you
whenever he can, if he really means it.
If he really does love you,
questioning him about it is probably not
a good idea.
I know my boyfriend doesnt like when I do.
I didnt reallyget it first, well I guess I still dont.
"I love you"
"Do you?"
hmm.
hah.
well, wait it out, maybe.
see how things go.
say it to him first, more often then he does.

Sometimes my boyfriends say it too much, and it almost sounds silly. It's not something you have to say all the time. As long as you feel that he does. It should be fine.

yes, it is normal in a relationship. it's like a joke. if you keep saying it, it wont be funny later on. but if you give it in the right cue, and sparingly, then you'll get a kick from the audience.
