I know there are pagans on here, maybe you can help. For some reason all the "pagans" I've met in real life are always so glumy.
Same with wiccans.
Hmph.
And your religions are such free stirited religions, one of good, and one with nature.
SMILE!
Hecate loves you!

Happy Pagan!!
Well, at least most of the time. We all have bad days, but the Wheel keeps turning....and I keep smiling.
Did you get caught up in a flock of "gothlings"??? They're pretty gloomy.
Blessings!

i will purely say that the Pagan religions motivate scientific enquiry and in spite of the undeniable fact that there are some areas of non secular faith it relatively is experiential and as a result harder to quantify. many human beings no remember if Pagan or from a Monotheistic custom might liken attempting to describe our faith to an Atheist as being on a similar order of venture as attempting to describe the spectacular thing approximately a first mild to somebody who has on no account considered one. I understand that some Atheists have belonged to a minimum of one faith or yet another interior the previous, so I understand that it is not constantly a valid analogy. it is not a remember of greater effective or lesser tiers of intellegance as many Pagans are in fields as diverse because of the fact the criminal occupation or device Engineering......

I run the gamut of normal human emotions, and I am a pagan, so I suppose at least some of the time (like right now) I'm a happy pagan :)
Shiny, happy pagans....

I'm actually a very happy Wiccan - when I'm not on this site. :-) Some of the questions ruffle my feather and tend to put my general cheeriness off.
But outside of this forum I'm having a FABULOUS time. My life is really wonderful and I really enjoy where I am in my life. I'm guessing that because of where you live that's probably why the Pagans and Wiccans you know are glum. I live in New York, and it's not that easy to be Wiccan up here!! Down in the Bible Belt your friends probably feel very oppressed - some may even feel threatened.
Those of us who just have to have cyber-space debates about our path tend to be much happier.
Bright blessings!

Everybody has bad days. Some more than others. I would like to consider myself a happy Pagan but I have my bad days too.

Most of the Wiccans I've had the chance of meeting are overly-happy [almost manic] white-lighters.
I guess glum is in the eye of the beholder.

i guess to each his or her own as anybody can be moody at times or nice most of the times or mean at times as well it just depends on the individual as well as how they are feeling at that particular moment anyway i'm agnostic and i hope i shed some light to the situation
