There are many animal rights organizations out there that investigate, report, and try to pass legislature on behalf of our furry friends who do not have a voice. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is probably the most well known organization and they have many articles and information about animals and furriers - here is a link to their specific "clothing" page and you can find ways to help at the bottom.
I'm with you all the way - I could not imagine if anyone tried to hurt my animals!!

Okay, first, don't ask for serious answers if you're not serious enough to use coherent grammar and spelling.
Secondly, this is an old stereotype. Yes, many years ago the Chinese did classify cats and dogs as commodity (to be used for their fur and meat, just as Westerners use cows for their skin and meat) instead of as pets, and some still do so today. It's not a rampant practice, so you shouldn't believe everything you see on TV or on the internet (especially on YouTube).
Your pets will never be killed for their fur, because they are lucky enough to be in America and have a loving owner. But many other animals around the world are hunted or trapped for their fur and meat, and there is something you can do. Go to the websites for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), the Humane Society of the United States, and/or the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and become a member. Request their newsletter, find out what they are working towards, donate to their cause, and find out how you can help them raise money and awareness in your community. Good luck!

i believe that they also kill cats, dogs, and other animals to EAT over there. it is sad that people kill animals just because they can for their fur. the first step to solving this huge problem would be for you personally to not buy any real fur items. also get your friends and family members to join in with you, and hopefully they will spread the word too.
saddly, this problem will most likely be going on for a long time. the usage of weaker beings for our own selves has been going on since the stone age. if we can't stop it entirely, you can at least say that YOU don't support it.

in case you "don't have plenty money" then how are you able to confirm which you will arise with the money for this dogs's preliminary and protracted care? whether you hit upon a "unfastened" dogs (or undertake a low-value dogs from a take care of) you're finding at $one hundred or greater for preliminary aspects, yet another $50+ for a wellbeing examination, $25+/month for nutrition and flea/tick/coronary heart malicious application prevention, $500+/year for non emergency vet costs... then you rather would desire to evaluate emergencies, that may run $4 hundred or greater in one bypass, besides as grooming, boarding, coaching, and different conceivable needs. And what relating to the certainty that unfastened or low-value canines at the instant are not likely to be properly bred canines? And that many "unfastened" canines are unfastened for a reason (oftentimes medical or behavioral)? the possibility of genetic ailment or behavioral themes being inherited in poorly bred canines interior of reason intense - which will recommend greater vet costs or coaching costs. actually, once you're on a funds then a dogs would desire to not be a reliable theory appropriate now. Wait until you have greater available money.

I love animals and it is very sad. I believe you should not kill an animal unless you intend to eat it. But with that said cats and dogs are cute and all and I do not wish to eat them but if other cultures do kill them and eat them..why let the fur go to waste. Waste not want not...NO I DO NOT THINK WHAT THEY DO IS RIGHT...I guess I just choose to try to ignore. That is wrong isnt it...

As long as people want real fur, animals will be killed for that fur. It is very sad but true. I agree with you that it is a terrible thing to do.

this is very sad....but come to think of it...we here in America kill dogs and cats..not for fur...but because irresponsible owners don't neuter their animals and we have a huge overpopulation problem. How is THAT any better!!

I can't even stand to hear about this, it enrages me too. I as well couldn't imagine my pets being killed for food or fur. Unfortunately different strokes for different folks, their society approves. Love your pets and tell them how lucky they are to live where they do!
