see, that question right there, presents the entire problem with religion.

who decides what the "wrong" choice is, man? who decides who the "bad god" and "good god" is? you? your religion? each faith believes that they're the "chosen ones", and that everyone else is "infidels". this is one of the biggest problems with the collective human psyche: everyone is convinced that they're right, that their version of reality is supreme above everyone else's. nothing promotes this mindset with more bludgeoning force than organized religion.

if there really was a "god", do you think that a supreme being would give a **** what you think? do you think it would actually care whether we believe in it or not? the whole concept of a "god" is so obviously created by mentally disturbed sexually repressed old men who just want to dominate everything and control masses of people like sheep. if there was a supreme deity, don't you think it would teach us to love ourselves and each other endlessly, and not worry about worshipping it or praying? don't you think it would understand that lifeforms make mistakes, and that the entirety of existence is based on experiences with trial and error? how can you know what is right if you don't make mistakes? and why would some supreme being decide what is right and what is wrong for us?

nobody has to burn, and nobody has to beg. people have to live their lives, and be kind to one another, and seek intelligence. that's the bottom line.

A rather absurd premise. What if the real God requires no such nonsense?

I believe God already loves everyone, so no need to beg OR burn.

Are there many Gods, and can you really choose a God? Or are you talking of a religion, well what makes you sure that your religion (or anyone's) is really the right one? I think limiting the Creator to a particular religion or faith or sect is not appropriate.

I think that we burn for our wrongs in this world itself, associating God with retribution points towards a vengeful God.

I'd rather burn than be in heaven with a god who'd send me there just because I was wrong. If he made me and gave me a brain, and then allowed me to see all that flawed mess that christians call evidence and scripture, then he deserves to burn there with me.

If there's a god that requires me to burn or beg...you can have him!

Begging wont help you my friend. Your sins have been forgiven with belief in Christ. If you reject him then thats your choice. Funny though, He does know who will reject him but still gives us the chance. Go figure
