I'm not gonna have that problem, cause when I have children, if i can't be a stay at home mom, I'll find a good Christian daycare.

I'd kill the demon that has now inhabited my child.

I recently found out that my cable provider was an atheist, I'll never be the same.

Honestly, Atheists aren't interested in spreading their views around, they're all together good people, they have morals and ethics, I can't understand why anyone would have a problem with an atheist being a child care provider.

I wouldn't care one way or the other. I would be more concerned with making sure that the child care provider had a clean record and was not a child molester.

well i'm agnostic anyway the only thing i would care about would be is my child safe both in terms of physically and mentally physically is my child safe from being sexually abused or beaten and mentally as i wouldn't want my child to be told bad things so i don't care about whether a person is religious non religious or whatever as the safety of my child would come first if i were a parent

If the child care provider is a qualified to the job, I would not have any problem with that. Children belong to God anyway, and that guarantees that children can go to heaven even if parents do not tell them about God. I did not talk to my child about God, luckily she found Him and requested that we started to go to church.

I would extend their contract and probably give them a raise. I wouldn't hire a child care provider who wasn't atheist.

Hello sweet bettierag... :)

My son when he was a young child had to go to a home for children with disabilities for 1 year..His house parents were Atheists..

We got along fine..I picked my son up every Sunday and brought him to Church..he would go back singing hymns..but when he was asked not to sing them in front of the other children (that were not Christians) he obeyed..for it was their home and we respected their wishes.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. I'd prefer to have an atheist watching my children than a known sex offender. But, I don't think beign an atheist makes someone less able to take care of children.

I'd be stoked! My child care provider and kids would have something in common.

who cares. as long as they care for the child thats all they are being payed to do. if the child is mature enough to understand concept of god and evolution i would hope that the atheist would keep to him/herself as its not up to them to teach your child about that kind of stuff.
