My point is exactly what many of you have pointed out. Faith is unprovable. No book, no person can prove it. So why do so many argue theirs is the only "Right" faith?

Peace be with you,
You can not prove Faith as Faith is your own personal choice to believe in your Religion. But, this reminded me of a little story.
There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time. When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any expert who could answer his 3 questions. Finally his parents were able to find him a Muslim scholar.
Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?
Scholar: I am one of Allah almighty's slaves and God willing I will be able to answer your questions.
Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able to answer my questions.
Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of Allah almighty.
Young Man: I have 3 questions:
1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
2. What is taqdir (fate)?
3. If Satan was created from fire, why at the end will he be thrown into hellfire?! It certainly will not hurt him at all, since Shaithaan (Devil) and hell are created from fire. Did Allah almighty not think of it this far?
Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard.
Young Man (feeling pain): Why did you get angry at me?
Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your three questions.
Young Man: I really don't understand!
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: Of course, I felt pain.
Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?
Young Man: Yes.
Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!
Young Man: I cannot.
Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel Almighty Allah's existence without being able to see His shape.
Scholar: Last night, did you dream that you will be slapped by me?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: Did you ever think that you will get a slap from me, today?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: That is Taqdir (fate).
Scholar: My hand that I slapped you with, what is it created from?
Young Man: It is created from skin.
Scholar: How about your face, what is it created from?
Young Man: Skin.
Scholar: what did you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: pain.
Scholar: Even though Shaithaan (Devil) and hell are created from fire, if Allah almighty wills it hell will become a very painful place for Shaithaan (Devil).

From a Wiccan to a Christian i have no problem with your faith unless they start attacking me,my faith, or someones sexuality
answer to your question faith is a state of feeling the way one believes should be personal and not scrutinized by everyone else i was raised christian but held no faith for the book or the treatment from the christian community.
People dont want religion shoved down their throat sothey become angry why not allow your beliefs to remain your own it would solve the anamosity of others to words the words you hold dear

It depends on the point I want to prove, and I typically use analogies when talking with a non-Christian.
How do you prove belief? You can't. All I can explain is that I know based on what God has done in my life that it's not just a series of random acts or mere coincidences.
Faith is specifically the opposite of proof. That's like trying to prove red is green.

Faith is proven by one's works and that comes with the principle that talk is cheap! In the book of james in the bible it states that "faith without works is dead", This is a scripture that is not open to translation but is a very direct and straightforward statement. So therefore one's works or conduct and actions is what proves ones faith. Jesus said that "every fine tree produces fine fruit". Therefore, if you are "fine fruit" or if your actions and conduct are fine actions and fine conduct, then you have proven your faith through "fine works".

The way we christians prove our faith is by our works. God says that faith without works is dead. If we have faith, it will be evident by the works we do. Like the two guys who let their friend down through a hole they tore up in a roof to get him to Jesus. Jesus responded to him by saying your Faith has made you whole.
And not the kind of so-called faith Islam preaches about killing infidels and get virgins, or what ever their false god says they will get. Thats not of faith, but of works. Meaning that if I do this cerrtain thing then I will go to heaven. Ours says that if you have Faith it will be evident. For we are saved by grace and that through faith, not of works lest any man should boast.

I have no desire to prove my faith beyond living it and being allowed to live it. The proof I have for my faith is not for the general public to be swayed into believing as I do. It is for me to believe and nothing more. Unfortunately too many can not see to understand that what works well for one, can only make others miserable.

You prove your faith best by living the life you claim to believe. If you live a good life and people see that you are different, then they will ask you about your faith, you will not have to preach to someone who does not want to hear because if they see your faith at work, I guarantee you they will ask you.

What are you asking to prove exactly? Proof of God or proof of faith? Faith is something you feel it cannot be proved. I have faith my husband would jump in front of a bullet for me how do you want me to prove it? I have faith that my love for my children is something i would give my life for how do you want me to prove it? I have faith in God that he exists that his revelations are true how do you want me to prove it?
Faith is something you feel. If you don't feel that faith then that's OK by me I'm not asking anyone to believe what i do. I do live and let live........from a Muslim.

if you say you love your wife.............and yet dont do good things for her.........what would she think?....does that mean you love her?.....or just an ear pleasing words?
even demons might believe there is god:
james 2:18-19>>>Nevertheless, a certain one will say: “You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith apart from the works, and I shall show you my faith by my works.” 19Â You believe there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder.
it is wel to say then that
(james 2:24).........YOU see that a man is to be declared righteous by works, and not by faith alone
why?(the bible tells us to):
keep doing good.” (Romans 13:3)
keep “doing what is fine.” (Gal. 6:9)
continually follow me.” (Matthew 16:24) (jesus said)
