It looks pinkish, but it doesn't have any pus coming out, and it doesn't hurt, and it's not warm. Is it because I maybe touched it without noticing? There is a small line, but i think that it was before the piercing. I also put an ointment like neosporin to heal the scar. I heard that it was really good. What should I do?

It may be swollen for a couple of days. Since you pierced the skin with a foreign object it takes a few days to get back to normal. If it is not warm, no pus and doesn't hurt I think you are fine. Just try using peroxide on it to clean the area. Some people are allergic to neosporin so maybe you should just
stop using that. (I am allergic to neosporin).

FYI. Keep them cleaning use a rubbing alcohol and Neosporn is the best antibiotic. If you're you're ears do get red or swollen take the earrings out ASAP. I have had my ears pierced so many times. Just keep an eye on em'. I have had my ears pierced and not had them infected yet had pus comming up. Pus is normal it's a normal process. Just as long as they are not swollen. They will be pink for a while do to the fact you had a gun go through you ears. If they are not better within a week take em out or contact you doctor and they will tell you what to do.

I would just use the treatment the piercer gave you. I'm not sure about the Neosporin, that may hinder the healing process due to it heals and you now have an "open wound." Your ears will be red and a little tender for a while. Just remember to clean them, I used rubbing alcohol for all my piercings, and turn the earrings.

I agree with everyone else that you should not touch it

Also, I would not advise putting any ointment on it. I swear that I've read somewhere that putting ointment on piercings is bad for the piercing, I can't remember the reason why it's bad but I know I have read it several times. I think that you should just leave it alone and let it heal on its own without putting anything on it...when I got my ears pierced I didn't put anything on them and they healed fine.

uhh, you dont want to put neosporin on it. just clean it with ani-bacterial soap and twist them regularly. the pinkish is normal and keep your hands clean... it will all be ok. if you do have pus then you might have an infection or a reaction to the metal. just KEEP IT CLEAN. and it will be fine.

Sounds like you're doing everything you should be doing... They should have gave you cleaner when they pierced them; just keep putting it on and it'll clear up. It may be a bit tender if they are infected a bit. If they didn't give you anything, put a capful of hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol and see it it fizzes at all and gets white.

That's normal for a few days. Make sure you are cleaning under the earring and the back with the solution really well.

Just follow the instructions as you were told. Clean them at least twice a day, and turn them as you were instructed, but don't play with them too much. A little swelling and redness is normal.

Sounds pretty normal. Just keep the wound clean and it should heal up for you.

Yeah, sounds pretty normal. If there is pus or if the swelling doesn't go away in a few days, go have it checked.
