Okay. I hear what a lot of you are saying. That we are not born with any AMOUNT of faith, but that we either accept God or don't by recieving Him when God calls to us. But, if you think about it, that's a contradiction. Because when God speaks to you, what determines whether you believe it is him or not? YOUR FAITH. So... why do some people believe it's Him and others don't? The only logical explanation is that people have different levels of faith. However, let me clarify. I'm not saying faith is genetic. If anything, I'm saying it's a matter of the spirit. And also, I do agree that if we are all born with zero faith, different life circumstances would create different outlooks and thereby effect us differently. But that's still iffy because people respond to life circumstances in different ways. So, it seems the more I write, the more this looks like a chicken and egg question. What came first, THE LEVEL OF FAITH OR THE DECISION MADE BASED ON LEVEL OF FAITH? (the plot thickens... lol

Romans, chapter 12

"3": For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Well if you look at earliest human life forms. They all had some type of religion. Religion to me is trying to define the unknown. We as people are afraid of what we do not know. There for if we believe or have "faith" in something, it makes us feel warm and fuzzy inside. Think about it before we knew what lightning was, that must have been some pretty scary ****. So lets just say that god was lashing out at something, not so scary now, because we defined what it was. Well think about it faith in something is your fear in something else. Why do you think there are so many different religions????????? So to answer you question faith must have come first. With out faith how can you decide on what level of faith????

Cant follow the atheist way Buddy

Big Bang fly in the face of science and the laws and principals of thermodynamics. Lets be logical people.

In the First Law of Thermodynamics: matter cannot be created or destroyed. In the beginning to the Big Bang, there is nothing present to explode, and zero energy to explode it. There are zero observations, or documented test results for spontaneous generation, let alone matter from nothing.

Expecting to have matter, and energy just show up, when none is present is like taking an absolutely empty box, and after billions of years, or any other amount of time, expect to open that box, and inside have a operational world in all its complexity. Spontaneous generation something out of nothing, used to support the Big Bang is in direct conflict with the first scientific Law of Thermodynamics.

There are no levels of faith.
Some people feel more "connected to God" than others.
We can't "Do" anything to believe in Christ, when the Word is shared with each person the Holy Spirit moves us to accept or reject the Word. If we choose to reject the Word, the consequences are on our own heads.

As spirit soul, caged in this material bodies, our original constitutional position is eternal servants of God. But when we leave His service and take birth in this material world we forget Him.
Like sparks fall from fire and this sparks some time fall into dry grass and get revive so easy, and some time fall into ground and some times into water. The same way our faith or our constitutional position some times are strong since the very beginning or we are staunch atheist since the very beginning like spark fallen into water it extinguished.

Faith
What is the definition of faith? It's in the Bible, Hebrews 11:1, TLB. "What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead."

Jesus is the source of faith. It's in the Bible, Luke 17:5, TLB. "One day the apostles said to the Lord, 'We need more faith; tell us how to get it.'" Romans 10:17, NIV says, "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ."

Real faith is believing in what Christ has done for us. It's in the Bible, Romans 5:1, TLB. "So now, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith in his promises, we can have real peace with Him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us."

Faith is trusting God in everything. It's in the Bible, Hebrews 10:38, TLB. "And those whose faith has made them good in God's sight must live by faith, trusting Him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them."

Weak faith can become strong faith with God's help. It's in the Bible, Mark 9:24, TLB. "The father instantly replied, 'I do have faith; oh, help me to have more!'"

Faith is from God, however we are the ones that exercise this faith that he has given. God does not believe for us, but opens our eyes that we may see the truth that is already there.

People don't believe because they don't think something is there that they can't see. Its a shame. God is there just as the wind is!!! Can you see the wind??? No!!! But you know its there because you see its effects all around you!!! You can see the effects of God all around you!!

Just like the wind!!!:)
